Effective Training Tool for My Husky Mix – Just Be Sure to Start Low!
I got this shock collar for my half-breed Siberian Husky, who has a habit of jumping on people and stealing food. Once he grabs something, he can get a little aggressive, so I was looking for something to help manage both the food aggression and his habit of jumping on guests — which, in my opinion, is one of the worst behaviors a dog can have in a home setting. The collar has worked extremely well so far. At first, I made the mistake of setting the shock level too high. It goes up to level 16, and I started near the top, which was too much. After some trial and error, I found that level 7 was the sweet spot — strong enough to get his attention and make him back off without making him too upset or scared. One important thing I learned: when using the shock feature on the remote, you have to hold the button down. I initially thought it would give a quick shock with just a click, but that’s not the case — it only works while the button is actively held. It’s a good feature for control, but definitely something new users should be aware of.If you’re just starting with this collar, I highly recommend beginning at level 1 and slowly working your way up to find the right level for your dog. I did it backwards and started too high — if I could go back, I’d absolutely take a gentler approach from the beginning.Overall, I’m very happy with this shock collar. It’s made a big difference in my dog’s behavior, and it’s helping me train him more effectively than any method I’ve tried before. Highly recommended!

Great collar to break bad habits!
Love this collar!! I was a little worried about buying a shock collar but I’m glad I did! It’s helped a lot with her bad habits. This one has a lot of options from 1-16 for strength, beeping, and vibration. I keep it at 4, which is enough. I zapped myself on 7 since I wasn’t willing to do it to her without knowing what it felt like. I usually just have to press the beep to have her come running. I got the pink one and it’s stayed surprisingly clean, which is awesome. I was also worried 2 collars would be too much on her neck but it works well and doesn’t seem to bother her at all. The charge on it lasts a really long time too. I think over 2 weeks, and then it recharges pretty fast. I almost spent twice as much on another one and I’m so happy I got this instead! Great purchase and I highly recommend it!

A great training tool
These collars work great. I have multiple dogs and I work remotely. I also have the jerkiest group of squirrels that ever existed. They taunt the dogs, the dogs bark like mad men and it was becoming a problem. Each dog now has their own collar and get a beep or vibration from their collar if they’re misbehaving. And I never have to leave my office. I’ve also used it for off leash training with a rescue dog that has a high prey drive. It’s was a miracle tool the one time I lost control of her.The remote and collar charge quickly and they last about two weeks. I’ve had them for months now w zero problems. I highly recommend them.

Good for training dogs on e-fence
We are working on training our dog on our electric fence, and one recommendation is to use a training collar so you can simulate the fence buzzing without having your dog get caught in the fence. We had borrowed one in the past, but then though it would be good to have one for ourselves.Overall, this is really easy to use and can perfectly simulate the buzzing that the fence does. We don't use the shock as our fence has the shock disabled, but in our experience the buzzing works perfectly for dogs to be trained. The collar fabric was very durable and the remote was perfectly sized and the battery has worked for several sessions.

Decent
Worked for about 6 months these cheaper ones don't usually last for a long time but it taught my dog and I really don't have to use it anymore I mostly like the Beeper part on it and then the thing that you handle part just stopped working the caller part was fine

Great value, Dog responds well
I bought this to help me train a 15 pound mutt. My dog responds well to the vibrations better than the beep sound. I do not think I will have to use the shock feature for our purposes. The unit itself is well made, and I like that it does not weigh much. Without the prong things, the collar is 2.36 ounces. And it might be silly, but i like that the remote control comes with a strap so I can hang the control at the front door between uses. One last thing...I am so glad I gave this a try before spending more money on the fancy name brands!

Great product and great price
This collar has been great at helping me train my dog. She kept jumping on people and wouldn’t stop. Now when I see her running to jump on someone I just press the button on the remote and she immediately stops in her tracks. You can adjust the shock level so it doesn’t hurt them just gets their attention. Definitely recommend this if you are training your dog.

Shocking!
My dog responds well to just using the beep feature. I use the vibrate feature when I need more attention. However, when she is chasing a rabbit or lizard, nothing will control her. But I am pleased with what it can do. It holds a charge for quite a while except when I'm using it very often.
