It’s serve the purpose of scaring pigeons away from the house. I really love the stature as it’s perfect for our needs and does the job. It’s very well-made as well.

The Florida state bird, “Mocking Bird”, is a plague in our neighborhood. They are very territorial and will not allow other birds in our backyard. The fake hawk is great for getting them out of our backyard. The downside is, no other birds will come in either.

It worked ok some birds would not land but others would so I painted it to look like a local raptor the Red tailed hawk ! Now the birds won’t come near My pool .

I purchased 2 of these. One was for my small peach orchard to scare away crows, and the other I placed near my bird feeders to see if it would scare away anything. They did not work. Crows still ate my peaches, and I have squirrels, rabbits, doves and a variety of other birds all around my feeders. Also, there are no instructions for mounting the "hawks", and when I figured out how to mount them, they cannot be easily moved. They are too light to be free standing and will blow over in a light wind. Maybe if they could rotate by the wind, the rotation would have helped scare something.

The cheap paint causes it to fade quick.

This is not a bad review, it is as decided and looks good maybe the best, The truth is it will not work at all for keeping birds out of my blueberry bushes, I put it in the blueberry bush, I put it on the grown beside the bush, I put on a post just over the bush the birds land on top of this decoy before going into the blueberry bush. Buy this for looks only, it will NOT repel birds at all.

These are working extremely well to keep pigeons off my roof. I put them in highly visible places around my house and the pigeons are now staying away. It took a few days but now the pigeons roost on someone else's roof. They are clearly avoiding my house.
