What I wanted but….
Came shrink wrapped but inside the CD cover had clearly been messed with where a label had been removed and sleeve itself at seams was torn, not a lot but made me wonder if it was ‘used’!!

Chris and his group are tight, very on key, my personal opinion is that CB is one of the greatest trumpeters in every genre, hugely disciplined musician.Boston Pops, says it all..!

great concert of great quality(except S.Tyler's show)
I would rate this concert with 5 stars but S.Tyler's show spoiled the final taste. It did not match the performances of others musicians. Great video camera, great sound, great music exceptone person I did mention. Anyway the best music on this dvd is a jazz and then performance of Sy Smith, Yo Yo Ma, Katharine McPhee and Sting. One of the best songs - with Sy Smith is missing on cd audio and that is a BIG mistake from mister Botti cause she made a difference on stage with her cover version of world well known song / The Look of Love.

Botti in Boston - great value
Didn't realise I was buying more than a CD. The companion DVD gives much greater depth/enjoyment. Chris produces exceptionally pure tones from his trumpet but the guests he has make this a complete joy. I bought it after hearing the the last few bars of 'Glad to be unhappy' on the radio but I now find myself humming 'Broken Vow' and Katherine McPhee's great rendition of 'Ive got you under my skin'.

Same again? Not quite.
Another Live Botti. With the usual cast of suspects?Yes and No. This album is both lusher orchestrally and jazzier in the group sequences, with slightly edgier arrangements.Well worth a listen, even for those fans who might expect to be experiencing musical deja vu.
