These Souper Cubes are amazing! The 2-cup size is perfect for portioning meals, sauces, soups, and even lasagna. These are an awesome game changer for quickly freezing serving sizes. They’re sturdy and work well. They are a great quality product with great design. The silicone is thick and the plastic lid seals well. I aim to get the entire collection.

The Souper Cubes are the best method of frozen food storage I have ever seen! The silicone is of excellent quality and there is an internal metal frame that prevents these trays from collapsing when filled, They can even be stacked upon each other when placing in the freezer. They completely hold their shape no matter what you put in them and when you stack them! Absolutely no sagging, drooping, or spilling trays! I have purchased the 2-cup. 1-cup. 1/2-cup trays and I love them! So far I have used the 2-cup trays for soups, casseroles, sauces, veggie stock, and mini meatloaves. I use the 1 cup Souper Cubes for soups, hummus, sauces. rice, and aquafaba. In the 1/2 cup Souper Cubes I freeze smaller portions for a side or when I just want a snack. Once frozen I pop them out and store them in 1 Gallon Freezer storage bags so I can reuse the Souper Cube trays. I had transferred to glass containers several years ago because I don't like freezing in plastic. Once I found these I am now switching over to this method. It's amazing how much freezer space is freed up, plus I have the perfect portion of whatever meal I'm in the mood for. No more eating leftovers for days on end! There was not any smell out of the box, just washed, let dry, and filled. TIPS: 1. Don't overfill past the line or they won't all fit neatly into the 1-Gallon Freezer Bags. 2. Cleaning the Souper Cubes couldn't be easier. I just rinse in hot soapy water. 3. I've seen complaints from people who are unable to get their frozen food out of the Souper Cubes. Simply let your Souper Cube filled with food sit on the counter for a minute or two and it will pop out easily. If you can't wait, simply run the bottom under running warm water for 1-2 seconds. 4. Don't pick up from the bottom unless frozen as the silicone is pliable. (If you skimmed over this one, you will learn the hard way :-) I really hesitated for a long time as they are pricey, but after taking the plunge I got what I paid for: A sturdy, quality product that I am thrilled to have in my batch cooking arsenal!

These Souper were the first of these products on the market, now there are tons of knock off, but the Souper is still the best. They nest to save space, but it works best with four or less. The inner band the forms the support rim is stainless steel, another sign of the quality. You can bake in these also, which I do from cakes to lean meat loaves. I make individual servings of stews, chilis (shown in photo), lasagnas, in the 2 cup version. Individual spaghetti sauce in the 1 cup version. Mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, veggies, and homemade applesauce, in the 1/2 cup ones (shown in 2nd photo on the left side). I have all the versions that Souper makes. I could show you lots of photo, LOL, they work so well. Once they are frozen you can take the food out and put them in ziplock bags and reuse the Souper. (Four of the chili servings will fit in one Ziplock gallon bag.). It is so easy to cook large batches and then divide among the Soupers and freeze. When you want a meal, just pick what potions you want and put them in divided glass dishes, and bake everything in that one dish in a HotLogic, but an oven or microwave works too. Don’t miss the cookie Souper either, because it really helps at Christmas — makes the perfect cookie size. Oh and they come with a terrific oatmeal cookie recipe sized perfectly for the cookie Souper. I make the dough one day and bake another; you will be shocked at how much easier that is. It’s even great to bake just a few cookies for us as we want them rather than a full batch. They are sold in sets of two. They also make a sampler set, but I find at a MINIMUM two sets of everything works the best for batch cooking. Anyway, I couldn’t recommend the Soupers and the sellers more highly. By the way I found a perfect container at Staples to hold them, which really helps, (shown middle photo).

Bought these as a friend recommended them to prepare meals and soup prior to surgery. I would say each block holds one generous serving. Once the food is frozen, you pop out the block and put in a storage bag. Overall I think they are ok, but I found it a little hard to remove the food once frozen. My complaint mainly would be with storing them. This may seem obvious to some. But they are large and don't fit or stack well with my other plasticware so I had to stuff them in the back of a cupboard.

A very significant upgrade to just using a regular glass container to freeze stuff in. It's much easier to get food out of, and also much easier to get the specific amount of food you want in (with measuring guides on the side) or out (just pop it out). Nice and sturdy, and there's a metal thingie around the edges that keeps it from getting into a weird shape when you wash or store it. They also stack into each other when empty! Couldn't find my phone to take a picture of it to show you, so here are some images of them from an alternate reality.

Great soup holders! Bought these as space savers for the freezer and they work really well. Holds 1 massive bowl of soup in each compartment, or two decent sized bowls. Really easy to remove the soup when frozen, just push the cubes out. Also easy to clean, just stick them in the dishwasher, so easy! I’ve used them quite a few times now and no signs of wear and tear, a great purchase.
