Very easy to use and looks sleek, helps make the best biltong .Easy to clean by just putting a bit of tinfoil at the bottom and can get wiped after , not noisy either. A little expensive but get to make my own biltong now !

Was delivered later than initially stated, thought I might have to request a refund as later date for delivery approached, then Evri delivered it in the nick of time. But the billing box is so good I quickly forgot about the delivery delay. The box is simple to put together, easy to follow instructions, no tools needed, everything slots together. Easy to clean. Nice size for a good couple kg of meat. Has everything needed to do first batch of biltong. Just about to start chomping on second batch we’ve made, first lot lasted less than 24hrs. Highly recommend this biltong box.

A must buy if you want to try to make biltong at home. We have not stopped using it since we got it.

I bought this for my husband as a birthday gift. We are Saffas and we love our biltong but it is so expensive to buy it in the UK. My husband had previously made his own biltong dryer but it was always a little troublesome, he was so excited when he opened his gift and started making biltong straight away. He had no problem setting it up, the back board fits in perfectly, just follow the instructions and take it slow. The size is perfect, and 'fully loaded' it makes enough biltong to keep us happy and to share with my mom as well. We have not yet tried the spices as we already had another open bag of biltong spice that we want to use up first. The fan and light is very efficient, depending on how thick the meat is and how wet or dry you prefer your biltong it take about 2 to 3 days for it to be ready. My hubby puts a layer of foil wrap and kitchen towel at the bottom of the box and it absorbs any drip of the meat and keeps the bottom of the box clean. There is no door in the front but it is easy to hang the meat from the top of the box. When he wants to change the kitchen towel he just carefully lifts the box away from the base. We bought some extra hooks as we found we needed more than what is supplied but they are easy to find online. We don't have any negative comments, we are very happy with this purchase.
