2023 Louisville Slugger Select PWR™ (-3) BBCOR Baseball Bat

My son has been using the 2023 Louisville Slugger Select PWR, and I can honestly say it’s been a game changer. The first time he took it to the plate, the ball just jumped off the bat. The sweet spot feels huge, and the pop is unreal. He’s always been a strong hitter, but this bat has taken his confidence and power to another level. The end-loaded weight gives him the extra power he loves, but it still feels balanced enough that he’s making consistent contact. Plus, no sting on the hands—even on those off-center hits. Since switching to the Select PWR, he’s hitting deeper into the outfield and driving in more runs. He absolutely loves it, and I love seeing the difference it’s made in his game.

If you can score this bat for cheap due to it being a 2023, absolutely go for it, it's fantastic value to get a top 3 performing BBCOR bat for under half the price. Performance is identical to the 2024/2025 variants.

Solid BBCOR bat. We tried lots of bats at the cages and made the choice to go with the Louisville Slugger. Older model, but well worth the money.

Zero stars if there was an option! We bought this for our son who plays at the collegiate level. We received the bat and took it to him the following weekend. He used it at practice and during a couple of games. The last game he used it in, it’s dented in. We brought it home and asked for a refund. We received confirmation from Amazon with a returned label. Seller charged a $199.00 restocking fee and said the dent was from overuse. How do you overuse a bat in 2.5 weeks? Seller states that it was on the website that all malfunctions should be sent directly to the dealer. This is NOT started anywhere! I also disputed this charge with Amazon. Currently waiting for full refund.

Son’s favorite bat. Great pop, forgiving sweet spot zone not end loaded but heavier swing than balanced bats. Definitely hits for distance.

My son had been using a DeMarini Voodoo for the past 2 years. We purchased this bat simply because he's growing and needed a longer bat. During our first batting practice, the difference is pop was blatantly obvious. Tremendous upgrade.

End cap has started popping off and the bat has lost its pop right about time for the playoffs to start. My son had 2 home runs at the beginning of the season but the bat has lost its pop through the season. I hope they honor there 1 year warranty.
