This frog is so cute and so soft. It's well made and I love the fuzzy fabric used for his body. All the decorations are sewn on securely and won't come off. Now if it's played with roughly by a small child, who knows what might happen. But gentle play, or for an adult display shelf, it's perfect and will hold up for years. I selected 8 and older for the age because I think a child of that age wouldn't be too rough with it unless it became their favorite and they took it everywhere.
