I am someone that really has trouble telling if supplements are actually doing anything for me. I do not typically notice the effects of supplements, but that doesn't stop me from continuing to try them. With this Berberine supplement, I first noticed that the pills are flat and thin, which makes them easy to swallow. Even though they don't have a smooth/slippery coating on them, I have no trouble with them getting stuck in my mouth or throat. They have a faint cinnamon scent and flavor (as there is cinnamon in them), and I love that. Even though you barely taste anything, they are the best tasting and smelling supplement I've had. You do have to take it food, which makes me chuckle because they are meant to help with appetite regulation. I kind of wish I could take them BEFORE eating in the hopes of regulating my appetite for that meal, but no such luck. My results with these have been mixed. There have been days that I took them and really felt they were helping. I could go longer between meals without any discomfort. But then other days, my appetite was the same as (or even worse than) normal. So unfortunately I really cannot tell you how well they work for their intended purpose. That said, I have zero undesirable side effects, so I do intend to continue taking them and hoping that with regular and consistent use, they will be more effective for me.

These berberine tablets are small and very easy to swallow. They have a cinnamony smell when you open the bottle, which is very pleasant. They also taste like cinnamon which is a plus.
