Bellroy Travel Folio – Second Edition - Black

Great quality/design perfect fit for all my travel documents and passport not at all bulky.

This was a lot to spend, but I have no regrets. Very beautiful to hold and it’s really very well made.

Quality not as good as the earlier models. The leather quality has been reduced, the card slots don't fit neatly, but some overall design improvements. Feels like they improved the design but sacrificed the quality

The travel wallet (second edition) by Bellroy is very lightweight; but in being light it inevitably feels flimsy; I think this is deliberate so the wallet doesn't add unnecessary weight to one's luggage? The premium leather isn't exactly the top of the range but alright (google ‘premium leather’ to know more about this grade of leather). I think Bellroy tries to embellish this by saying it's from a ‘gold tannery’. The zip glides well but I could see no evidence it was YKK (the top of the range). So, is the zip in fact a cheaper one? At the product's price of £150, that's insane. It has some utility and functional compartments and ultimately I can't be bothered to return it so will end up keeping it. It doesn't apparently have enough room for a family's worth of passports, it would suit a couple traveling together. I since lost the folio and its contents and had to get replacements, I ended up getting a 'Looxmeer' passport folio that is a tenth of the price and superior in my opinion, it actually has a zipper pouch for cash! Overall this is groslly overpriced and does not deliver the expected functionality, don't waste your money.

Arrived in an unsealed, damaged box. I wondered if it was a factory return or secondhand. It’s supposed to be a gift…Contents look new. It sure if anything is missing.
