Widdop and Co Traditional Cuckoo Wall Quartz Clock by & Bingham

Standard delivery came within 2 days. Bought this to replace the cheap plastic Actim clock which did well for a couple of years and then the cuckoo died. Though advertised as a traditional German clock, a label on the back says "Made in China" However for all that, its well made and the clock keeps perfect time to the second. The forest sound of rushing water and cuckoo "echo" was different to the Actim single "cuckoo" and not so easy to count, but that's not a big issue as you get used to it. All in all, I think this is the best alternative for a cheap cuckoo clock if you are not prepared to spend hundreds on the real mechanical variety. However, once the electrical connection goes, you'll have to scrap it which is a shame for landfill.

Lovely clock and the cuckoo works perfectly. Instructions were easy enough slightly confusing but didn’t take long to figure out :) would highly recommend this clock!

I bought this for my mum for Christmas. She has always wanted a Cuckoo clock and when I saw this I thought it looked perfect. It arrived quicker than expected and was well packed. This is a good size, not too big and not too small. Its not the same quality as a genuine black forest cuckoo clock but for those of us who can't quite stretch our budget that far I think its perfect and looks the part. I can't wait to give it to her on Christmas day.
