I’m a beginner with poly gel nails but this little bundle has just about everything you need to start out (except a dremel/file and slip solution). The gel was super thick but I put it in a mug of hot water for 10-15 minutes and that made it a lot easier to work with. Make sure your UV light has high wattage. Edit: now that I’ve gotten the hang of using polygel, I’ve changed my 4 star review to a 5. It was operator error lol. Love this product!!!

If you do not have slip solution acetone nail polish works great. It is difficult to get a thin layer you have to work with it a bit. Keep in mind when you press the form to your nail it ooze out the sides slightly but, use slip solution with your brush and run along the edge gently so not to move the form. Product will create a thick ridge behind the nail if form is pressed to hard to the nail. You can thin this ridge out behind the nail with slip solution just don't apply too much pressure. I cured 30 sec on the top and 30 sec underneath to set it and then added the addional 90 sec rotating top and underneath the nail for the best results. Hope this helps.

This is too think to work with. I tried spreading with their slip and that didn't help. I also tried alcohol which also didn't work. I put the tube in hot water and was able to pt it out in the dual form but curing it became impossible. It's just a thick gloppy mess

This is some of the best polyol that I’ve ever used! I highly recommend.
