A great bit of kit.
I purchased it mainly for my attic man-cave, so that I don't have to trudge down to the kitchen every time I want a cold drink or snack. So far, it's been absolutely brilliant in its 240V mains mode. The fact that the temperature is adjustable is great. I use a standard fridge thermometer to keep the contents at a steady 4-7C, and only have to boost the intensity to full for an hour or so, when loading-up the cool-box. Otherwise, it works fine at about half power. At this setting, the fan noise is negligible.

Camping game changer
Very good product the noise when on full all night isn’t an issue and added some white noise for the kids so was great. Good amount to hold in terms of food wise. Definitely prime the night before bed it lasted 3 and a half hour trip in 25 degrees heat and was all still very cold at the other end. Milk constantly cold and meat was stored all week perfectly fine. Changed the whole camping experience for the better.

Great camping chiller
Easy to use and great value. Not a refrigerator but works well as a chiller if instructions are followed. We use it for keeping breakfast items chilled for short budget hotel stays. Nice size to fit in the boot of the car and can be plugged into the cigarette lighter socket. Slight build quality issue with ours - one of the hinges was broken when it was unpacked, which means we have to be a little more careful with opening the lid - but as we normally remove the lid (like a cool box), it hasn’t really affected us so far. Design of the hinge could be better to be honest. Would have been 5 stars otherwise!

Really pleased with this
I’ve just used this for the first time on a long journey by ferry and car. It worked really well on mains power in my hotel room (you can vary the temperature and fan speed when using mains power) and in the car (where it operates at maximum and can’t be changed). Half power is good enough to keep things cold and is perfectly quiet enough to sleep next to. I put some freezer blocks in before a 12 hour ferry crossing when the fridge would be switched off and to my amazement, they were still frozen solid at the end of the journey - so excellent insulation too. Thoroughly recommended if you need to keep drinks or food or medicines cold while travelling. Slightly short cables so you might need a 12V extension cable unless you have a 12V socket in your car’s boot. Alternatively it fits nicely in the front passenger footwell.

Wish we had bought one sooner
Used for the first time this week during a camping trip in the Lakes. We thought it may be a little loud for use in a tent, but no you couldn't hear it at all😊. We managed to fit in all the essentials - bacon, sausages, butter etc., plus all the non essentials - beer, lager, wine, fruit juice etc.. We particularly loved the way the bottles could stand up right instead of having to lay them down and we could easily put the lid on to ensure a seal. Everything was kept nice and cold, no having to find a place to freeze ice blocks or buy ice cubes to keep the temperature down, like we have to when using a cool box. Super price and very quick delivery. Wish we had bought one sooner

very useful
Serves my purposes (which have nothing to do with camping). I live in a small flat with two rooms. A small fridge in each one of which gets turned off at night so I can sleep - I am suffering at the moment from insomnia so sensitive to noise. So the contents of one of the fridges get put in this thing each evening after I have cooled it down and carted to the other room. Pros - its portability, its ease to clean, it seems to have pretty good insulation so can if left unopened can be turned off completely for a number of hours, it looks like its not going to break easily. Cons - when you have it on maximum cooling setting it makes quite a noise and unlike a fridge the whirring noise is continuous so I have it on this setting for about two hours to cool it down and then slide it to a lower setting - not the lowest setting though which doesn't do much in the way of cooling.

Good but with limitations
We bought this for camping and it did a good job but there were a couple of interesting things I hadn't appreciated before using. 1. The cooler on this is adjustable by a control knob and there is no thermostat - you do not choose a temperature. In practice that means that the temperature of your food will vary depending on the environment you are in and whilst camping in a British summer the temperature of the environment changes a lot. We kept a fridge thermometer in the box over the weekend (not included) and found the temperature varied from +9.5 degrees to -2.6 degrees C. It wasn't a big issue for us (other than a frozen bag of salad) but worth being aware of. 2. It is quite noisy when on full power. This noise levels goes down considerable the moment you turn it down but as the weather was good we opted to keep it outside the tent. I think it is something you could get used to but worth knowing. 3. This sounds obvious but it only cools when plugged into power. We had it connected via the cigarette lighter in the car and worked well whilst we were driving but then spend a few hours in a hot car without the engine running once we got to the venue so another. 4. The vents at the top cannot be covered up when it is cooling. Again pretty obvious when you think about it (the heat needs to escape) but it did mean I had to completely change the way I packed the car and ended up having this secured on a passenger seat. All in all we are happy but the it does have its limitations. An integral thermometer would be a nice touch though.
