Works great. Battery life is also very good. We use occasionally and nice not to have to charge every time.

I absolutely love this training collar. It can be used for one or two dogs. When I first got it we only had one dog. The directions are very easy to read. The equipment is very easy to use. The battery lasts forever. The value that I paid for this was very acceptable. The quality is great. The collar does not tear or thin over time. It's very easy to adjust to the right size. The sound quality of the tone is awesome. I use this to train our husky Shepherd mix n Im glad I did. I rarely have to use the shock option or have it on a high level. My dog know s to respond to the tone first and if he doesn't he gets the vibration second and then if he still doesn't listen then he gets the shock. But having it on my dog for a few months now, I rarely have to use the shock. I only usually have to use the tone because he already knows what's coming if he doesn't listen to the tone. I've tried the harness. I've tried the prong collar, none of them really work for him, but when he has his collar on I can take him outside my front yard without a fence and he doesn't go outside the yard. If I want to go for a walk with him I can go for a walk with him without a leash because I have the remote in my hand and he knows when he's wearing that collar that it's time to listen and obey. I really appreciate the travel ability of this unit. I can either pack it in the box and take it with me if need it. Or I can just leave the collar on him throughout the day and keep the remote in my pocket and travel throughout my day without having to worry about a leash or prong collar get into tight or a harness chafing him .

I have a replacement for my first purchase due to battery but just because I like this so much, I did not return it. Life gets easier, not that it was bad with my baby at all, when this device makes so much of a difference. The remote control size is perfect for my grip and my hydration belt pocket. The thing is I have to tie a red string of my belt fastener to make sure that it does not fall off my pocket. You may stick your contact info on it. The collar is heavy but soft feel material, yet durable. It is easy to operate. Now that I updated my review, this product has proved its optimum quality. By far, it is the most effective shock collar. Knowing how to use it while many people call a shock collar, "animal torture". With your positive reinforcement, I find it very useful and workable for my dog. We are althletic duo. We go to mountains, climb falls, scramble off trails, do short caving, etc. He sometimes jumped on people and did a play bite which was not considered a good behavior, now he is under control with my voice. You used this device with your voice and he registered it even when you do have it with you. He used to launch at dogs when he saw them out of excitement looking for buddies. It was bad enough to scare some people. But now, he would launched at ladies to make friends, he went a new people to do the same. Just CALL HIM, he would stop. If not, hit the beep, buzz or zap him depending on the degree of misbehaving. I would come back to do more comments in the future. Let time be the judge and my usage be the reassurance. Life does get less headaches with it. UP TO THIS DAY, I AM STILL A FAN. It is also good to HAVE a backup device. You can even get TWO....Talk to the seller. Maybe they give you a special deal.

I was apprehensive about the whole training collar with the shock feature, but life with my big boy Hoss (60+ pound Pittie Mix) needed to change for both our sakes. He had gotten into the habit of "fence wars" being territorial with the neighbor's 120+ pound mastiff in actually biting and tugging on the chain link (NOT good). This collar has helped make a night and day difference! He is thankfully responsive to the beep sound mostly now coming to me, and vibration if really distracted. It only took one time, on the lowest setting, of the shock (after being called, beeped, and vibrated first, in that order) for him to learn quickly he was not a fan. I also would like to mention that I first tried out all the features, particularly the shock setting(s), on myself first (which feels very similar to a TENS unit). He wears it daily and it's taken off each night. I appreciate the ease of use overall. I just wish it had more hole adjustments (I was thankfully able to add a few very carefully with an exacto blade which so far has worked great) and adjustable levels for the vibration as well. I originally was drawn to it for the features & bonus the camo Grey suits my boy perfectly. I'm so thankful for this training tool as it's helped transform our relationship, making both our lives a bit more relaxed.

Most our friends are rural areas, with lots of land. Because of this when me and my dog go visit most of the time she don’t have a leash on. But I love the comfort that this collar provides. A simple beep and she knows to come running back to me. ( and when we notice Bob cats , bears, or coyotes are out that means EVERYTHING) this collar is better than the $300 one I had. The battery works amazing. The waterproof works past puddles, rain, and even swimming. There’s a wide variety of level for the shock level, and that’s amazing because I don’t really ever use the shock , so I do keep it turned down low enough that if it would accidently get hit she would never even feel it. Definitely a major value for your money.
