Nice pack! Fresh ideas introducing mountable steeds that will help in the dungeons . Funny and punny content as always , munchkin never fails to deliver . Totally recommended to be bought with as many expansions as possible . Always fun to play , always wanting to play again :) Let the dungeon exploring continue forever !

Bought alongside munchkin8 (half horse will travel). They work really well together as the new race of centaurs in 8 will allow you to keep any number of steeds! Great fun. We now have munchkin delux and these two expansions and I think that's just the right amount. Won't keep getting the same cards but neither is it too unwieldy.

I love to play this with my wife, we both love Munchkin. This expansion is again a great addition to the game.

Original Munchkin item. one of the expansion you should have pretty basic. You can uild in with later expansion if you would like to make your game more complicated.

A must have for your starter pack. If munchkin wasn't random enough for you, this will surely set you straight. It's even better than 2 & 3. Combine them all to get maximum profit. Arrived in perfect conditions.

A nice expansion pack for Munchkin, I expected it to have a few more steed cards though. There is 10 steed cards and 13 different hireling cards as well as some new cards that effect them. There's also some nice new items and new monsters of varying levels but there seems to be more high level monsters than in the other expansions. The rest of the cards are made up of wandering monsters, (new) level ups, curses, one each of race/ class cards and wishing rings etc.

Nice addition to the base game. Those with queries around mixing decks, don't worry as the cards are already marked at the bottom and can easily be split again.

More of the same. Some new quirks, some nice gear. But that isn't a bad thing. It fits perfectly with previous expansions. Soon I'll have too many cards to form any type of coherent strategy though...but Munchkin really isn't that type of game haha

In addition to steeds this expansion provides more cards to bolster your chances of obtaining helpful cards from the base game including more monsters, items, race and class cards, as well as a few go up one level cards. The cool thing about steeds is that you can choose to fight them as monsters when drawn face up from the door pile at the start of your turn and their level is double that of their combat bonus so level 8 monster for a combat bonus 4 steed. Each expansion enhances the munchkin game experience and I highly recommend this 4th expansion the need for steed.

I had tried to find out which series had those light-colored back side cards and I thought Munchkin 4 was compatible with my old dark-colored basic set, but I guess it isn't! Otherwise, everything else was fine.
