Trying to reduce the cable clutter in my travel kit.These short USB-3 disk cables work well and are heavy-quality.

I needed a short USB 3.0 (aka USB 3.1 Gen 1) type C to type B cable, a difficult combination to find since type B has been replaced by type C, to connect a second portable ODD (Optical Disc Drive, aka CD/DVD/BD drive) to my laptop that wouldn't create a cable jungle on my desk (the first one goes to a type A port on the laptop). This length is perfect for me. While I haven't tested to see what actual speeds the cable is able to handle, they are more than fast enough for my needs.

I bought these to replace cables lost in a move. They seem to work as well as the original cables with good transfer speeds and appear to be durable. Highly recommended item and seller.
