My tootsies feel great!
A wonderful way to treat your feet as you work. I am a writer and spend about three hours in front of the computer four days a week. Comfort is a MUST. The footrest is great as it gives me the support I need for my lower back. Also encourages good posture. The material is firm yet pliant, cradling your feet in a gentle way.

Pretty good, squishes eventually
I've been using this for around 8 months now, and it's pretty good, but, as with all things, it eventually starts to develop flat spots where my feet rest. I was hoping it would last longer.

Definitely helped me
As with all items like this, your mileage may vary! Now that I've had and used this for a little more than a week, I can say that it's actually helped me in a few ways. 1. It's a little too tall for me but it's not affecting me in any major way and actually helps me naturally lean back in my chair for a more comfortable position for my back. 2. I've been able to have my feet more or less flat on a surface for the first time in my life and also be level with my desk which has helped my back pain quite a bit. 3. My cat absolutely loves the underside of the separation layer so much that she laid in my lap for a good while on top of if. She is not a lap cat in the slightest so that's a big win on it's own! 4. It allows me to rock in my chair which is really good for my fidgetness while streaming or just at my computer. Before I would be constantly shifting and setting cross legged for hours which did a number on my hips. The only "problems" I have with it is it's a little too big for the small space under my desk so I can't really use the rocking function or be under my desk in my chair but these are more of a temporary "problem" so I don't consider it a fault of the item. The other "problem" I found out today is I can't use my defur brush on it or it tears up the mesh but that's on me and it's only a small test section. Overall I like it a lot and it's helped me in the areas I needed it to and came with the bonus of my cat loves it too.

Comfortable, warm, versatile, ergonomic
I have been using mine for several months. -the foot pocket is nice and warm in 60 degree temperatures -at temperatures above 70, setting the foot over the pocket works to keep feet cool -the fabric has good stitching -it does not seem to collect dust like others say -i like that the bottom of each park has anti slip backing -you can add the bottom flat cushion for height if needed -it takes up the right amount of space in my desk -i feel comfortable resting my feet on it for 8 hours day. -It is ergonomic -it does not sag for me, thereby providing good support

My Lower Back Pain Disappeared After Two Weeks - This Footrest Actually Works
THE PROS - What Makes This Worth the Investment: Lower Back Pain Relief is REAL: Within two weeks of consistent use, my lower back pain decreased by probably 70%. I didn't believe it at first - how could elevating my feet fix my back? But proper leg positioning apparently takes pressure off your lumbar spine. My chiropractor confirmed this is exactly how it's supposed to work. High-Density Foam Doesn't Compress: I've had cheap footrests before that turned into pancakes within a month. This high-density foam has maintained its shape perfectly after 5 months of supporting my 180-lb frame for 40+ hours per week. Zero flattening, zero loss of support. The 2-in-1 Design is Genius: You can flip it to use the curved rocker side for active movement (keeps blood flowing) or use the flat angled side for stable support. I alternate between both throughout the day - flat for focused work, rocker for meetings or creative thinking. This versatility alone justifies the price. Mesh Cover is Breathable: My feet don't get sweaty even during Arizona summers in a non-air-conditioned garage office. The mesh allows airflow while still being comfortable. I use it barefoot, with socks, or with shoes - works great all three ways. Perfect Height for Most Desks: At 4 inches tall (flat side), it positions my legs at the proper ergonomic angle. My feet rest comfortably without dangling or being too elevated. For context, I'm 5'9" with a standard-height desk, and the positioning is perfect. Non-Slip Bottom Actually Works: The rubberized bottom grips carpet and hard floors equally well. I've accidentally kicked it aggressively multiple times, and it doesn't slide around. This is more important than you'd think - a sliding footrest defeats the purpose. Large Surface Area: Measuring roughly 17.3" x 11.8", there's plenty of room to adjust foot positioning throughout the day. Not cramped like smaller footrests where your feet hang off the edges. Removable, Washable Cover: The mesh cover zips off for washing. After 5 months, I've washed it twice (toss in washing machine, air dry). Looks like new both times. Neutral Black Design: Looks professional under a desk. Not an eyesore if clients or colleagues see your workspace. Helps With Circulation: No more numb feet or tingling legs during long work sessions. Proper elevation improves blood flow noticeably. THE CONS - The Honest Trade-Offs: Price is High for Foam: At $40-50, this is expensive for what is essentially shaped foam with a cover. Cheaper footrests exist for $15-20. However, the quality difference is significant. This is a "buy once, cry once" situation. Takes 24-48 Hours to Fully Expand: Arrives vacuum-compressed. You need to let it expand fully before use. Mine took about 36 hours to reach full height and firmness. Plan ahead. Initial Foam Smell: Typical new foam odor that dissipates within 2-3 days. Not overpowering, but noticeable. Air it out before using. Height Might Not Work for Everyone: If you're under 5'3" or over 6'3", the 4-inch height might not be ideal. Measure your desk and leg length before buying. Adjustable height would've been nice, though I understand that compromises structure. Rocker Side Has a Learning Curve: The curved side feels weird initially. Your feet want to slide off. Takes a few days to get used to the rocking motion. Once you adapt, it's great, but expect an adjustment period. Not Suitable for Standing Desks: Obviously designed for sitting. If you alternate between sitting and standing, you'll need to move it out of the way frequently. Mesh Can Snag on Rough Shoes: If you wear work boots with aggressive tread, the mesh can catch slightly. Not damaged mine yet, but I can see it happening with daily rough shoe use. Size Might Be Too Large for Small Desks: Measure your under-desk space. At 17+ inches wide, it won't fit under every compact desk setup. REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE OVER 5 MONTHS: Week 1-2: Adjustment period. Felt weird having my feet elevated. Back pain started decreasing by day 10. Month 1-2: Fully adapted. Started alternating between flat and rocker sides. Back pain reduced by approximately 70%. Noticed improved posture naturally. Month 3-4: Became completely natural. Don't even think about it anymore - it's just part of my workspace. Foam still firm, no compression. Month 5 (Current): Still looks and performs like new. Back pain only returns on days when I forget to use it (travel days, working from couch). That's when I notice how much it actually helps. Foot Numbness Before/After: Before: Feet would go numb 2-3 times per day during long coding sessions. After: Hasn't happened once in 5 months. Posture Improvement: My girlfriend noticed I'm not slouching as much. Elevating feet naturally encourages better spine alignment. COMPARISON TO ALTERNATIVES: vs. Cheap Foam Footrests ($15-20): Those compress within weeks. This maintains shape. Worth the extra cost. vs. Plastic Footrests: Those are adjustable height but uncomfortable and cold. Foam is far superior for comfort. vs. Wooden Footrests: More durable but zero cushioning. Also more expensive. This offers better comfort. vs. Inflatable Footrests: Those are portable but lose air and pop easily. Foam is hassle-free. vs. Nothing (No Footrest): My back pain speaks for itself. The difference is dramatic. TESTING WITH DIFFERENT SCENARIOS: Barefoot Use: Comfortable, mesh feels nice, feet don't stick With Socks: Perfect - my preferred way to use it With Dress Shoes: Works fine, though I prefer socks for comfort With Sneakers: No issues, though bulkier shoes reduce the ergonomic benefit slightly On Carpet: Non-slip bottom grips well, doesn't move On Hardwood: Also grips well, no sliding With Gaming Chair: Works perfectly - actually improved my gaming posture too ERGONOMIC BENEFITS I'VE NOTICED: Reduced Lower Back Strain: Most significant benefit Better Posture: Naturally sit more upright Improved Circulation: No more numb feet or tingling Reduced Leg Fatigue: Legs don't feel as tired at end of day Hip Alignment: Knees at proper 90-degree angle Core Engagement: Slight rocker motion activates core muscles subtly WHO SHOULD BUY THIS: Desk Workers with Back Pain: If you have chronic lower back issues from sitting, this is worth trying Shorter Individuals: If your feet don't touch the ground at your desk, this is essential Remote Workers: Invest in your home office ergonomics Gamers: Long gaming sessions benefit from proper posture support Pregnant Women: My coworker swears by hers for pregnancy-related back pain (consult doctor first) Anyone Sitting 6+ Hours Daily: Office workers, students, writers, programmers People with Circulation Issues: Helps with blood flow in legs WHO MIGHT NOT NEED THIS: Tall Individuals at Low Desks: If your knees are already at 90 degrees naturally Standing Desk Users: Unless you also sit for extended periods Budget-Constrained Shoppers: If $40-50 is too much, try cheaper options first People Who Rarely Sit: If you're active all day, you don't need this PRO TIPS FOR MAXIMUM BENEFIT: Use consistently - benefits compound over time, not instant Alternate between flat and rocker - keeps legs engaged Position at proper distance - adjust chair height if needed Take breaks still - footrest isn't a substitute for movement Experiment with angles - find what feels best for your body Use with proper chair height - knees should be at 90 degrees Wear socks or go barefoot - most comfortable options MAINTENANCE TIPS: Vacuum mesh weekly to remove dust and debris Wash cover every 2-3 months (machine wash cold, air dry) Rotate position occasionally to ensure even wear Keep away from direct sunlight (might degrade foam over time) Don't place heavy objects on it when not in use UNEXPECTED BENEFITS: Improved Focus: Better comfort = fewer distractions from pain Reduced Fidgeting: Having a defined foot position reduces restless leg movement Better Sleep: Less back pain during the day = better sleep at night Saved Money: Haven't needed a chiropractor visit in 4 months (was going monthly) Work From Home Upgrade: Makes home office feel more professional and comfortable OVERALL VERDICT: This is one of those purchases where you don't realize how much you needed it until you've used it for a week. The price seems high for foam, but when you calculate cost-per-use over five months (approximately 800+ hours of use), it's pennies per hour of improved comfort. My back pain reduction alone justifies the cost. Add in better circulation, improved posture, and genuine comfort during long work days, and this becomes one of the best ergonomic investments I've made. Is it perfect? No - the price is high, and the initial adjustment takes time. But the quality, durability, and genuine health benefits make it worth every penny. WHO BENEFITS MOST: Desk workers with lower back pain People sitting 6+ hours daily Shorter individuals whose feet dangle Remote workers investing in home office Anyone with circulation issues Professionals who value ergonomic health WHO SHOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE: Those needing adjustable height Standing desk exclusive users Extremely tall/short individuals (measure first) Anyone on an extremely tight budget People who work on the go (not portable) BOTTOM LINE: Five months ago, I had daily lower back pain and didn't think a footrest could help. Today, I'm pain-free most days and genuinely upset when I forget to use this at coffee shops or when traveling. That's the highest endorsement I can give. For desk workers, especially those with back pain, this isn't just an accessory - it's a health investment. The ErgoFoam footrest has earned its permanent spot under my desk.

Fantastic Foot Rest
Extremely comfortable for my feet and posture and very warm. I often get cold feet when sitting so this is the perfect solution. The ability to flip it over and rock it is wonderful for my ADHD. This is the most versatile and robust footrest option for under the desk use.
