Blueair Genuine Classic 200/300 Series Replacement Particle Filter for 205, 280i Air Purifier - Removes 99.97% of Pollen, Dust, Pet Dander, Mould, Bacteria & Viruses

Been using Blueair for many years and was due to replace the filter. Ordered it on Amazon as it was quick and convenient.

The best air purifier brand in the market. I have been using Blue Air Air cleaners for over 8 years. Eliminates dust, pollen or even food smell. Sneezing, hay fever and itchiness are gone as well, and my eyelid doesn't feel heavy. I am extremely tidy, but London's air quality is terrible. I would not recommend any other brand than Blue AIr. The filter is heavy on price but your lungs are worth more than that.

Expensive, but effective.

I wish this was more readily available but, when you can get hold of it, it is very easy to fit. Just remove the plastic packaging from the exterior of the filter and slot into place. My old filter was filthy and had needed to be replaced for a while; the difference in air quality afterwards was marked. I only use genuine filters, at least at the moment, but may need to review that should the genuine article remain difficult to source.

The filter has quite a strong oil-type smell which I think others have encountered.As it arrives sealed and boxed as normal I assume this is an issue with Blueair’s manufacturing process.I’ve never experienced this issue with previous replacement filters. Hopefully the smell fades quickly with use.
