Perfect replacement for a failed capacitor in my 35 year old DeWalt Powershop radial arm saw.

My twenty year old garden shredder stopped working. Using the Internet I diagnosed the problem as a faulty capacitor. A web search turned up no direct replacement as the age of the shredder meant spares were unavailable. Matching the model type, voltage, uF value etc. on Amazon I came across this one. Purchased, it arrived next day, fitted in 10 minutes and the shredder is now running better than it has in a long time. Very pleased, and a lot cheaper than a new garden shredder!

I was quoted £200 to repair my hot tub. But after a quick Google I found this range of capacitors were the direct replacement although the old one was a rounded rectangle and these are cylinders. These dont come with a cap to cover the connectors so I had to make out of a spray can lid.

After I troubleshooting, measured the capacitor, order ed this part, replaced, my friendas A/C restored to work well. This is good component!
