This does exactly what was described - it takes a 1080p image and upscales it into a nicer, cleaner, sharper 4k image, and it works better than expected. There is a definite jump in visual fidelity when you turn the 4K Gamer Pro on - so much so that I don't really ever see myself using my Switch without it as it now looks too blurry in comparison! There's also no perceivable added lag, as far as I can tell. The games seemed to be as responsive as they were without the device connected.The different enhancements might not be to everyone's taste, and affect each game's visuals differently, so I'm going to keep mine on "Low" or "Medium" - I've included an image that compares images of Fortnite's Lobby to highlight the differences, the image on the far left being the standard Switch visuals, the second one being "low" enhancement, third being "medium", and fourth being "high" enhancement.It also works well on retro game systems. I hooked this up to my Retro Tink 5x Pro and was very impressed at how Sega Dreamcast games looked in particular. Even 2D sprite based games looked crisper!Results were mixed with N64 and PS2 games - you may need to experiment with the 4 modes on 4K Gamer Pro on a per-game basis to see which one works best for each game, otherwise jagged edges and imperfects might look even less pleasant than they did at a lower resolution.All in all, I'm quite happy with my purchase. It does exactly what it sets out to do, and does it in an easy, consumer friendly way.Nice one, Photofast!
