Great Battery, super lightweight, sound quality, ANC, My hearing isnt great and these are fab.
This review is for office/home office Teams/phone calls - I do not use these for general audio listening/music but I dont think thats the target audience. Ive used this headset for 6 weeks now and would say - fantastic. Used both for Teams calls and also for IP phone calls at work. Some days I am 'on the phone' for 80% of my day and I can honestly say that they are super-comfy. When not on calls, I typically have them just draped around my neck. I absolutely love the fact that you flip the microphone upwards and it mutes the call/Teams. The ANC can feel quite strange at first as it immediately closes in and you can hardly hear anything else apart from the call - Im unsure if the headset also reduces my background noise for the caller (not sure how I check that). These are Jabra 55 and I used to use Jabra 65's at my previous work - these are much lighter. Ships with a USB adapter with an LEd that changes colour depending on what you are doing - Connected/ Teams call/ mute / ready etc. They are also Bluetooth on their own which you dont even need the adapter (I genuinely dont know if it really makes a difference if bluetooth or USB adapter to a laptop but good to know they will still work if I ever misplace the adapter) Only slight negative is the case that it comes with looks great but Im not a big fan of it due to the fact that the design of the little pouch for the usb adapter makes it quite hard to get the adapter in/out - its defo not going to get lost/fall out once its in the pouch but that does mean its a bit of a faff to get it in there in the first place as its a snug fit. Battery life is just incredible - I get hours and hours of use off one charge. My charging routine now is to leave it plugged in when I am on lunch and I can honestly say that I have not ever needed to charge it outside of this routine. I dont know what the quoted battery life is but a full charge easily gets me a FULL day of use even with ANC activated - I top it up just to be on the safe side but probably dont need to. Overall - Yes, they are expensive ( I paid just short of 160) but I dont have great hearing and these are fab. I am in an open plan office and can still be talking to people as I use the coffee machine 20 metres away. Also if a teams call comes in when these are round my neck I can use the special teams button to answer the call or just flip the microphone from mute to talk to answer. Its a proper wireless experience. My recommendation at March 2024 based on experience - If I could get the Jabra 65's for 100 quid or less today brand new then I would go for those but if not that cheap then definitely i'd pay the extra and get these Jabra 55's with ANC - the price of the 55s seems to be hovering at around 150/160 right now but if you are reading this then you are probably already considering paying that. PS the 65s are the older version - the 55s are the newer version - strange that the numbers went backwards??? I hope this review, in some small way, helps someone with their purchase decision.

High Quality and Superior Comfort
The Jabra Evolve2 55 has all functions you've needed in a headset, it really is the headset you need. Whether its the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) or the pillow like comfort on your ears, the Jabra Evolve2 55 exceeds all expectations, having purchased these headphones two weeks ago I only wish that I had purchased them sooner. I've been using these headphones to work from home, in the office and on the commute and love the flexibility. The included USB-C dongle makes the pairing process a breeze, in fact it came pre paired so I only had to plug the dongle into the laptop and there it was, connected for my first meeting of the day. I also connected up to my phone, and was impressed to discover that I could be paired to both my work laptop and my phone at the same time. The transition is seamless and allows me to take calls on either device. The headphones arrive with a great felt bag, it has a really quality feel, with a handy pocket for the dongle, this is great because the dongle is perfectly small, unobtrusive on the laptop when plugged in, but would be concerned about it getting lost if it was just in my bag! My only concern with the soft bag is that the headphones may get crushed on the daily commute, so will be checking out whether Jabra have a hard shell type case for them. The comfort of the headphones is superb, as one of my family members said, the cushioned headphones feel like wearing a cloud, they aren't too loose or too tight, just enough that you know they are on, and they are very lightweight. I did notice on a complete day of back to back calls my ears warmed up a little but that was welcome in a cold office. The headband is nicely adjustable, and buttons are well placed for controlling the headset. I have found that the headset is further customisable in both the app and in the Windows program, Jabra Direct, I'd recommend looking at what you can tweak. Being able to customise my experience in Microsoft Teams has been excellent, whether it was using the busy light when I'm in calls so my colleagues know not to interrupt me, to being able to set the microphone up such that when you lower it, you are automatically unmuted, saving the hassle of finding the unmute button on Teams, these little touches add greatly. The sound quality of the headphones is great, whether its music or Teams calls, I find that I can hear perfectly and people can hear me which is exactly what is needed. The battery lasts all day as well which I love.

Not suited to professional use
These didn’t really suit me. I had originally bought them after a software/driver update meant my existing Bluetooth headphones were no longer detected by Teams. These worked when using the Jabra link dongle but had the same issue when using Bluetooth connectivity. The headset is lightweight but even so, feel uncomfortable pressing on your ears are using for longer calls, which is surprising for a headset marketed as for progressional use. The battery life is ok but the button to turn them off takes quite a few seconds to do so, and since they don’t turn off automatically when taken off, battery life can quickly drain by accidentally leaving them on. Noise cancellation and sound quality seem ok but overall a premium price point for unremarkable features

Great sounding headphones, flaky Teams integration
For office work these headphones sound great with good earphone NC to quieten down the general noise in an office. However, don't expect the earphone NC to work miracles - you can still hear things around you, but they are muted to be noticeably less distracting. The mic NC is great - other people have to mute themselves to stop background noise corrupting the meeting, but these are superb at eliminating nearly everything apart from your voice. They are also very comfortable with super-soft ear pads. The Teams Integration (using latest Teams on a MacBook Pro), just doesn't work. Muting the mic by lifting it up doesn't show muted in Teams. The teams button doesn't seem to do anything. However, the headphone busy light does come on when you're in a meeting. Not a deal breaker for me, but maybe of significance to others. I've deducted a star for this.

Très bon casque et pratique pour les réunions Teams/Zoom Je le conseille. Il fonctionne aussi bien pour un ordinateur que pour un téléphone mobile iPhone par exemple.

super love it
