Love the Epoxy
Exceptional Resin for DIY Projects! The TAKIMO 1 Gallon Crystal Clear Resin Kit is an absolute delight for crafting enthusiasts. The resin mixes smoothly with the hardener in a simple 1:1 ratio, making it incredibly easy to use—even for beginners. The curing process is quick, with results ready in 8-24 hours, and the finish is stunningly clear and glossy. I was particularly impressed by the bubble-free formula, which ensures a flawless finish every time. The resin is also resistant to yellowing, maintaining its pristine appearance over time. Whether you're creating jewelry, coasters, or river tables, this resin delivers professional-grade results. The versatility of this kit is unmatched—it works beautifully with pigments, mica powder, and embedded objects, allowing for endless creative possibilities. Excellent choise, Easy to work, finished shine.
I bought from Amazon the same brand of resin for four years, but it was discontinued, so I found myself needing a new one. It was a difficult decision due to the positive and negative reviews. However, it had more positive than negative reviews, and the price seemed fair. I also found the manufacturer's tips confusing, especially those related to mixing the resin. If warm it before use, if use three different mixing cups, etc. So, I used my own judgment and bought dispensers to avoid any struggles since I bought the large size. I used only one measuring cup. I decide use this resin at room temperature. Adding the "A" solution first and after the "B" solution. At first, it seemed full of bubbles and cloudy, then I stirred it slowly with a silicone stick for 12 minutes, making sure to cover all the sides and the bottom. I poured it over my work and after 25 minutes I added the objects and glitter I needed, and the result was excellent. The resin by itself eliminates all bubbles, and became very clear making my work shine. I hope they don't discontinue it, as it's not easy to choose the right product.

skull made with Takimo resin
for me this resin is easy to work with, good price and very clear, looks like glass. I'm still having problems with bubbles but I have only been doing resin for 2 years. everything still looks awesome.

Great with one weird caveat
This has been one of my favs so far-affordable, very clear/shiny, low bubbles (as long as you follow good practice- warm it before or during stirring if bottles are cold to the touch, pour B in first then add A, stir very slowly for 5 min). It’s ridiculous for anyone to say “no bubbles” but the bubbles left are easy to remove with a lighter. Very low odor. Working and cure time are good, as always cure time is greatly dependent on the temp of the room you are curing in! I point a space heater at it while curing if the room is cold, this greatly speeds up curing. I often finish an item at night and it is hardened when I wake up. However if you cure in a cold room, it can take much longer - as is the case with any epoxy. Now the weird caveat- The instructions I noticed said that it’s not to be used for anything thicker than something like a 1/2 inch (I can’t find them to confirm exact amount- but I’m sure it was less than an inch) because it could get so hot that the project would melt. It was shocking to me that this was not mentioned on the product listing- it even says it could be used for large projects. I decided to give it a try anyway since I often will pour in layers 1/2-1 inch, my projects turn out fine BUT one time I mixed a large amount (600ml) as I was pouring a layer for several molds and a while into my working time I noticed tons of steam coming from the measuring cup, I touched the outside of the cup and it was shockingly scalding hot and I had to throw out half of the resin as it was lumpy/almost completely hardened, which sucks because 300ml is definitely expensive. So my lesson is to work in smaller batches and pours. Aside from that, no complaints.

Should’ve just lit my money on fire instead
Do not buy this epoxy. I followed the directions to the letter, mixed Part A and Part B for the full five minutes, then added epoxy dye like I’ve done a hundred times before. The dye fought me the entire way, sitting on top like oil and vinegar until it finally gave in, and then decided to separate again once poured. I’m no newbie, I usually use Stone Coat with flawless results, but this stuff? I have no idea what kind of science experiment it thinks it is. As it cured, the color literally drifted and distorted my design like a bad mood ring. And just when I thought it couldn’t get worse… I went to sanitize the surface with 70% isopropyl alcohol (which every normal epoxy can handle) and it turned tacky. Fully cured epoxy should not feel like a fruit roll-up in July. Save yourself the headache, spend the extra few bucks and get the good stuff. This one’s a hard pass.

Dont let the price fool you. This stuff works greatt
May cost less than other brands but it's the real deal. Very low odor. Minimal bubbles after it sets for a bit. Cures crystal clear. Easy to use. It is thick but you can think it by letting the container sit in warm water. Cures strong. Bonds really well. I use it so much I have it on subscibe and save.

Love the resin. It’s easy to mix and dries well. I’d buy it again. Not sure why but there was a small hole in the top of the part A bottle. Otherwise, this is an awesome product. Great resin.

Easy to use, need to be fast and learn the technique of eliminating the bubbles. Bubbles will occur despite everything .

more expensive than most epoxy combos we would get in Singapore. Works the same as the super cheap ones that are on shopee or the like. disappointed.

Does exactly what it claims to do for my requirements. I use a lot of pigments and mica powders and am very happy with the quick curing time. I don't do any clear resin work so I cannot comment on that. This product is now my go to resin.
