Can anyone provide step by step instructions for this stamd please? Just got mine and can't fathom how to put together. May have to send back...

The issue is not with the stand but the fact that you have not removed the back base of the nest from the nest, pull this apart by placing your thumb and forefinger between the hole in the back of the nest and the black plastic rim behind the chrome rim of the nest, then pull apart this is a bit fiddly but persist and it will soon be in 2 parts. Be careful not to drop whilst doing this ( it's easily done) the rest will be self explanatory

this stand has turned up with no back bracket.. handy

That's because the back bracket is supplied with the thermostat

Does this come with the power lead?

No the power lead dose not com with stand . Power lead comes with the nest thermostat .

Is the heat link included in the case?

When I purchased the heat link it did not have the bracket with it, so had to purchase bracket separately.
