Qualtex QUAK411 compact Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner, Plastic

Works really well for cleaning my car and sucks really well, seems quite sturdy even when pulling round my driveway, could perhaps do with a longer nozzle attachment to fit down sides of car seats, but does the job for me. great value for money.

Bought it to replace my old house hoover, as I have a rabbit and was getting tired of clearing constant hay clogs in my old cylinder vacuum. Initially I was a bit worried about how small the floor head is (about 10cm) however, the suction is so fantastic that it doesn’t really matter! With a normal vacuum head I’d have to go over an area multiple times—not so with this one. The head is also nice and light and easy to move around, gets the floors clean in no time! I was also worried about weight and manoeuvrability as I’m disabled. Not an issue! Light enough to move easily but not so light it gets pulled over. The 360 wheels are a big help there. I have someone who helps me with the house and he was so impressed with it that he’s planning to get one himself! It’s nice and small which is perfect for my 1 bed flat, not much bigger than my old goblin cylinder vacuum but with a much larger capacity. I bought paper bags as my flat has had bedbugs in the past, but I love that there’s a reusable fabric bag for everyday use. The extension tubes could be a little longer but that’s a minor gripe, not even worth subtracting a star. Love that it has a bag AND a hepa filter to clear the air before ejecting it. Keeps the air clean and dust free. Easy to use and put together despite the many functions. I was worried it would be complicated but it’s absolutely not complicated at all. Not used the wet function yet, but planning on doing a DIY carpet wash soon. Will update on how that goes but I have high hopes!

I’d recommend this item for properties where utility storage is an issue, it’s also light and can be carried quite easily. Short plug cable but it does have a long vacuum hose. Perfect for most small to medium sized properties. Practical and powerful little vacuum, good suction but noisy… however is it really fair to complain about refinement at this price point?

Extremely noisy. Too noisy. Not enough room for dust bag to be filled to its potential. Have to reinforce the castors and unit with cushion protection to reduce damage to unit over time (this based on customers advice of low quality build). Works as should otherwise.

The vacuum cleaner looks more like a toy — every part is made of fragile plastic. It’s very small, and therefore has limited capacity. I returned it the same day in its original condition and packaging and requested a refund. Be aware that communication with the seller is very poor, and no refund was issued. Eventually, I reported them, and while the seller did nothing, Amazon refunded my money.

I bought this for one single job. I needed to empty my pond which has had water in it for 30 years. One day all my gold fish died. So i figured I needed to empty it out and start again. I used the filter pump to get most of the water out but the sludge and mud at the bottom were going to be a problem. Now the pond is one of of those moulded plastic things which I have decided to put a plastic liner in it. This vaccuum cleaner got all the sludge and mud out brilliantly. Probably about 6 or 7 bowl fulls. I was so surprised how well it did it. It also has a blower function which I don't have a use for but nice to know, It has a great suction, seems plenty powerful for what I wanted. No idea how long it will last but I'm happy with it and the attachments are going to make it easy for cleaning the car in the dry mode.

I bought this to help dry out an inspection pit.it easily lifted 40 liters of water in no time at all. 2 days later our shower drain was slow, l quickly got the vac and removed all the discusting hair clogging it up. It's never drained so fast. I don't know how we lived without it.
