Beautiful pens, writes well and smoothly. Doesn’t smudge like some other gel pens. The pens all write in black ink as I expected with various barrel colors all of which I liked except for the yellow one (you can’t see the intricate design on it because there’s not enough contrast between the colors but that’s just personal preference).

These are very pretty but the paint, especially the gold markings, tend to peel pretty quick. Also I tend to mess with my pens a lot and take them on and off my badge at work and found out pretty quick that these aren't durable enough for that. The clip snaps off pretty quick and the top that comes off to replace the ink cracks. That being said, if these are just for time to time as a decorative piece on your desk, these are great. The ink is satisfying and it writes very smoothly. It's also thick enough that it doesn't hurt to write with it for long periods of time.

For the price, I was so surprised with how smooth the writing was. Very nice pens
