The only product I know to do what it claims for hair
I have been using this product for over 5 years. There is nothing else like it. I usually use it continuously for a few months then I get lazy and stop. As my hair loses the luster and strength and start breaking again I will revert to using it again. I know. I am lazy. I still prefer the earlier version of this product. Although it used to be smellier i think it was less processed and f**ked with. Now there is definitely "refinement" going on with this product. Please bring back the old formula.Having said that this product still does what I need it to do.1. Improves strength of hair which prevents breakage. I do Japanese hair rebonding every six months and color my hair every other month. I think I still have decent hair thanks to this product.2. Shine and moisture locked into my hair. I usually apply it overnight if I have been lazy the previous months and have not treated my hair to much TLC or if I have been using this regularly i would apply it 15 mins before washing my hair and use the hair dryer to "activate" the oil.Especially in the winter when you wear caps, hats, beanies, hoodies, etc you know what the lack of moisture does to your dried out tresses. Before you consider chopping your hair off, try this for a few weeks.

What bad smell?
I bought this several years ago, and stopped using it because the price was just too high for me at that time. I recently needed something that would help relieve my dry scalp, especially in the summers. And this was the one thing I came across while looking for hair conditioners or oils that would really help. There is a smell to this product, but its not anything bad, in my opinion. To me it smells like caffeine mixed with some sort of berries. Its overwhelming at first, but after you open the jar after a few times, the smell will begin to dissipate. After it is in your hair, you wont even notice the smell. Anyways, this really helped to relieve my dry itchy scalp and it lasted all day. Also, this is great as a deep conditioner. Slop it on heavily, leave on for a good twenty minutes then rinse clean.I would recommend this to anyone that has dry hair, dry scalp or just needs a great deep conditioner to replenish their hair every now and again. Tip: Rub between your hands very quickly until it turns into an oil, then apply.

LOVE IT!!!!!!
I found this produce by mistake while shopping at Ulta.I purchased it that day but then come to amazon for all reorders. I am black and have very dry hair. I have never used this product as directed. I use it on my ends at night, then I wrap my hair in a silk scarf and sleep on it (I do not wash it out). In the morning my hair is soft and manageable. This product is a little more expensive than I'm normally accustomed to paying but one jar of last so long that I only purchase about two or three per year. I have used this now for over four years and will continue to buy it! By far the best product for my hair. I also wear hair extensions and apply this to the ends to keep moisturized.

Was much better the old formula.
I bought Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Treatment a long time ago, could be around 2 years ago, I had still some of the old one when I bought the new one very recently, and I felt the old formula was stronger and better, the smell was stronger and the color was darker, this new one is lighter color and the smell still smoky smell but with a little bit of perfume in it, like the company is trying to disguise the strong smoky smell adding some of other good scent in it. I mean still a good product but I don't feel it as good as the old formula. The smell was never a problem for me, it's true the smell is kind of strong smell, but really the smell goes away when you wash your hair, what I would do with a good smelling product without good results!!! the good smell isn't everything, especially with products for the hair and the skin, I really want on first place good results and second or third place the good smell.

I bought this and when I put it on my hands it melted like oil so I used it one day when my ...
I didn't get used to the "old" version long enough when I purchased my second batch it was the "new" version. I bought this and when I put it on my hands it melted like oil so I used it one day when my hair was full of frizz and it calmed it right down. I think I will use this on a daily basis with just a little to calm my frizz. I still used a leave in and curl definer which if you follow the "curly girl" routine it's leave in first, then curl definer and lastly oil. It worked for me. I did the "plop" method of using a tshirt to dry and leaving it on for ten minutes before taking off and got really good results in a very humid climate.

Quite a hassle to use but texture of my hair did improve, but no shine
I heard this was a miracle product, so I went in with high hopes. Though I see noticeable improvement in the texture of my hair (it had been bleached blonde for summer), it is still not shiny. Also, this is very time consuming. It's a solid, and to get it to dissolve into the hair you have to dry it with a dryer for 5 minutes (as per the instructions). I think that is quite a hassle and most people dont have that kind of time. The smell isn't as bothersome as I predicted, but it is strong and it is is hard to wash out, so you have to put on dry hair, dry with a dryer for 5 minutes, leave on for 15-20 to overnight, then wash and condition again. I'd definitely be happier with something easier to use, but I"m happy that my texture is more improved than with other conditioners I've tried. Anyone know of a product that comes through with shine?

It works!
When I used this the first time, it seemed to make my hair worse. After I washed my hair the second time, my severely damaged hair was silky smooth. This product does stink. I put it on, blow dry my hair for five minutes, leave it on for 15 more minutes and then wash and condition my hair. I do this at night and when it air dries it makes my hair kinky. But, when I wet and style my hair in the morning with the blowdryer, my hair turns out great. I use argon oil too and I highly recommend it. I was desperate to find a product that could restore my damaged hair and I'm happy to report that I've found it with Ojon!
