Nice kit for the money

If you're getting a torch for the first time this is a pretty nice starter set. It's not super high end but it has everything you need and it works pretty well. For the cost you can't really go wrong with this. What's nice is you have everything for a good cost then as time goes on you can upgraded pieces as you go off you need to. The valves work smoothly and it's easy to adjust flows as needed. The tank holder is decent and holds the hoses and is mountable for a cart or on a wall. The one thing I'd probably replace first in this set are the hoses, they're a bit in the stiff side and can coil in your way while you're working. Part of that issue is it just being new hose but there are definitely better hoses out there.

Regulators do not stay where they are set, hoses are too bulky for the smaller torch. Overall very dissatisfied. You get what you pay for!!

I'm a DIYer/weekend warrior who dabbles in a little of everything - this kit has been a great way to get my feet wet with cutting and brazing and has been a great addition to my small stick welders. This may not be your high-end Lincoln but that's not something I'm going to use to it's full potential and would likely be wasted on me - especially while I learn. I'm extremely happy with this kit as a stepping stone and can upgrade items as needed without having to go whole hog all at one time. This is well worth the selling price and I'd highly recommend it.

This is a great kit to get started with. The only thing missing is the oxygen and acetylene tanks. If I was getting started into the cutting, brazing and such this would be the kit I would get. The price is reasonable, being lower than a lot of others of equal value.

Nice easy to move and use torch set, even comes with safety check valves. The old torches didn’t come with check valves, you had to light torch correctly and monitor hose temperatures during use. Fitting threads were cut clean and sealed up with no leaks. Torches adjusted out like any other torch and got the job done. Torch set didn’t leak and worked good for me.

I got this for brazing copper pipes for HVAC. The project involves a custom DC inverter AC unit split into a mini split and I had to join the two halves back together. The pipes were kind of small so it would be easy to mess it up but I was able to knock it put pretty well. This is my first time brazing with oxy-acetylene, normally I have used induction but I no longer have access to the machine. This worked surprisingly well for me, just don’t hold the flame in one spot to get it hot, move it around the joint. Works perfect.

Residential/ light commercial hvac tech/installer. Braze almost daily but this setup was rough out of the box, oxygen regulator was broken. Very inconsistent/ sensitive flame, too late to return them now but don’t even bother trying to braze with this setup.
