Cherry Tree Furniture Executive Recline Extra Padded Office Chair (Black PU Leather)

I received the chair today and for the price it is not bad. It is a little difficult to assemble with no written instructions, just pictures like for a child. I ordered the brown one but when I opened the box and unpacked it, it was black. No way was I going to try and repack it to send back. I guess I will just have to live with the wrong color. If the color had been correct I would have given 4 stars.

I had an appalling chair for a while so decided to buy this, and I can honestly say that it is a brilliant chair. It is really comfortable and has a lovely look to it, and it's a very good price (I bought it when it said it was in sale, it told me that it would be dispatched in 4 days when it came in stock, some dfs style sale right there) and I'm loving having a chair that supports me properly and gives great comfort. You can put it together by yourself without someone helping, but at the same time you can get to a place without a car, but it makes it an F tonne easier if you have one, but generally the instructions and the assembly is easy. The only negative I've found so far is that the recline feature really isn't great. Not saying it doesn't work, I'm writing this review now at a lovely angel, but it's just not that great as a piece of equipment. When I first put it together I thought the recline was broken ( I dropped the box containing the parts for it and was 90% sure I had ruined it). Turns out it just requires the strength of The Mountain to make it move back, perhaps after a while the piston will get worn in and it will be easy, but pistons are designed to last for years and run in a simple way with nearly no maintenance, so I reckon I'm just gonna have ultimate back muscles in a month or so. It came four days early and it is as good as it promised on here. In a world where computer chairs are priced beyond reason for how cheap and easy they're made, I think this is probably your best bet, would recommend this chair to any one.

Comfortable seat which is high enough for taller person. I often find seats too low to allow me to sit flat with weight spread evenly but this chair is fine for me (6' 3"). The head rest pad is very low and not adjustable. I do feel it but it doesn't bother me really and feels OK. It looks good and was easy to assemble, taking about 10 mins, no tools needed other than the Allen key provided. This is a fairly cheap office chair but is very good value. No need to pay any more. -- update added after six months I've used the chair a lot since buying it and I am still giving 5 stars. It looks just as good as day 1, the 'leather' and stitching have stood up very well to daily use. The padding is still soft and the tilt, recline swivel all work perfectly. I've had office chairs costing over £1000, but this one is just as good. Excellent value for the price. -- update added after 1 year I've worked from home for a year now and used the chair so much. I am still completely satisfied. The chair shows no signs of wear and the tilt, recline, swivel and height controls work as new. I can work seated for extended periods without any discomfort. Great chair, recommend to all.
