McCormick Gourmet Two Tier Chrome 16 Piece Organic Spice Rack Organizer with Spices Included, 15.41 oz

We love this spice rack. I do wish that it was sold both with, or without spices. We loved it so much, that we bought two of them, because we have more jars of different spices that what this thing holds. Of course, we kept all the new spices on one of the racks, because they were new. On the other rack, we gave all the spices away. This is because we really don't need two jars of any every type of spice, but we wanted two racks, and they only come with spices. Yes, it seems pretty extravagant to buy a rack full of spices only to get rid of the spices and have an empty and now expensive rack. But since they don't sell this rack empty, we had no choice. The McCormick spices that come with it are Gourmet Organic. Replacement spices for these racks would be either the McCormick Gourmet Organic or the regular, non-organic spices from the McCormick Gourmet Collection. These spices are sold at all the grocery stores where I live in Sacramento, CA. The glass jars for these Gourmet collections, are designed to fit this spice rack. The jars slide in and out of the rack soooooo easy, yet at the same time, because the jars have facets on the sides (not totally round on the bottom of the jar), the facets force the jars to always keep the labels facing forward. I love having all the labels always face forward, even while spinning the rack around. The cheaper ("normal") McCormick spices that come in the standard size red plastic round containers also fit in the rack. Those round containers fit more snugly, but not too tight. They fit snug enough that the labels won't turn. However, even though it's not particularly difficult to insert or remove the those round containers, it is not as super slick, easy-as-pie as the Organic Gourmet spices. Bottom line: I have all my existing red plastic containers in my second rack, because they DO FIT in the rack, and I'm not going to throw away good spices that I already have. But I will buy only the McCormick Gourmet Organic or Gourmet Collection spices in the faceted jars as replacements. If you do NOT want to spend the extra money to buy the Gourmet Organic Spices as replacements, then I would not recommend buying this rack because like I said, it's a bit of a tight fit for the regular McCormick spices. Of course, if you wanted to keep the faceted jars and refill them, I suppose you could do that. You should know that Spice Island, Dash, Kroger Value, Safeway, Cajun Choice, and Lawry's containers do not fit in this spice rack. I have some generic spices that I bought somewhere, and I'm sorry I don't remember. Possibly the Dollar Tree. They do fit the rack. You may have to take a tape measure to the store, or compare the cheap spices with the McCormick containers to compare sizes. I do keep a couple of small square-shaped salt shakers in the rack that are filled with specialty salts. They fit the rack as well as the McCormick Gourmet, faceted jars spices. I saw that my girlfriend filled one of the racks with 16 containers of Keurig Gloria Jean's Butter Toffee in the rack for the fun of it. They fit perfectly. Since I'm not a coffee drinker, I don't know if other Keurig products for flavors fit in the rack. Another reason I like this rack is that it's a nice chrome rack. I would have been happy with a bamboo or wood rack too, if it weren't for the shape. I did not want a plastic rack in my new, beautiful wood kitchen cabinets. It's a great, well-made, sturdy rack that will last a lifetime. I hope this review was helpful!

I bought this as a gift and it was a hit. It is sturdily built, spins easily, and looks nice on the counter. It doesn’t take up a lot of space either. I got McCormick because I have found their herbs and spices to be top quality. The assortment of spices are the basics, but personal preference will always be up to the chef. This would make a great housewarming or wedding gift.

THIS is absolutely amazing!! I got it for my mom for Christmas as she NEEDS a seasoning set. This one is perfect for her and came with the stand. It's also EBT approved which is such a great help to get her a practical gift that she needs. I've always loved using McCormick seasonings for myself, they all are usually always fresh and vibrant tasting, so I'm happy my mom can have an entire kit to herself. The kit came with all the essential seasonings one would need plus extra, and nothing came broken and packaged well.

I had purchased 2 of these over the years. The high quality spices are cheaper this way than bought individually. The lazy susan style spice rack is heavy duty and turns smoothly. It is a staple in my kitchen for everyday cooking.

We really appreciate the spice rack & jars that came in this set.

I love it! The only thing I would change is: being able to pick which spices you receive! It spins well and saves so much space! I still 10/10 recommend, you just might have to buy a few spices you wanted and take out the ones you don't to make them fit
