Very comfy and cute, nicely made , but as others made mention of lots of the beads fell off when I took it out of the package, but none came off while I was wearing the dress, and there were plenty anyway! Wore to a roaring 20's event and got many compliments. I know it helps when other people post the size that worked well for them so- I am 5'5" , 145-150 lbs and usually wear a size 10 or 12. I ordered the Medium and it fit perfectly, easily slid over my head and was very comfortable. Very well made for a costume. Good shipping speed as well.

I am 5' 8" tall, weigh about 180 pounds, and wear a size 14. I was hopeful that a size Large would fit me. It fit perfectly, and was even a little loose, making it a very comfortable dress. The quality was excellent--no beads or fringe fell off at all. The fabric was heavy enough that I didn't feel I needed anything underneath it--not at all sheer. The front has lace above the fringe, and there is a layer of fringe and gold beads along the neckline. The back of the dress above the fringe is plain. This dress was perfect for the 1920's murder mystery party that I attended, and now I'm also set for Halloween, or any time that I feel like dancing the Charleston.

I read all of the reviews for about 20 different flapper dresses...this one was right on. I am 50 something woman -- 145 pounds--36 C --wanted a nice dress, comfortable, not too revealing. I ordered a medium and it fit great--in a perfect world I would have altered it a bit in the straps to make the dress fit perfectly--but, it was great as is -- wore for Halloween. The dress is great quality for the price--I can wear it again and again for costume parties... I wore fishnet hose I got from DSW shoes---and I wore a velvet shawl and put on a 20's style pin with it--ordered the Gold Leaf, Flower Applique, Plume Feathers on Sequin Black Headband here on amazon to match and it did PERFECTLY. I think I looked pretty authentic-- This was a home run costume. The little beads do fall off--but, there are tons of them--and they aren't really necessary for the dress to look great...but, you want to pick them up if there are babies or toddlers around.

Dress is pretty in the pictures, but pretty flimsy. The lower portion of dress has the nice fringe but the top looks cheap. Arm openings are pretty big and not well finished and material is fairly sheer. Compared to other gorgeous higher quality dresses friends got from Amazon for a few dollars more, I’d keep looking.

Very nice. Definitely a costume, not "real" dress quality for the money. Sizing is tough - I am large on top (36F) and medium (6-8) on bottom. There are darts on this that definitely do not fit big busted women, but they are mostly unnoticeable. It is relatively slenderizing, extremely comfortable, easy on/off, and pretty good quality. Some of the beads were already missing when it arrived and one fell off while I was standing looking in the mirror. Hopefully the rest stay on through the party this weekend.

I wore this dress to a Roaring 20's Ball, and had a lot of fun! It's solid, not cheaply made and I will probably wear it for Halloween next year too! I'm an 8-10 size, about 5'5" about 140 lbs. It could have been up an inch on the shoulders, but I didn't have time, and it still looking great!! It was a little roomy on the sides, and was very comfortable! thanks to all reviewers...I researched a lot of dresses and found the reviews made it for me!

Oh my gosh this dress is amazing, looks like a "real" dress, not a costume, so cute!!! I bought it for my 18 year old sister for a costume party. She usually wears a medium or a size 6 but the small fit her just right and hugged her curves without being to tight. I'm usually an extra small or small and it would be to big for me. If you are really small this might be to big, but if you are a medium or larger this is a great dress just order a size down.

This is a very fun and simple costume.The beads move on their own and create a fun movement that was great for dancing and moving around at a party. I'm kinda a busty girl but I don't like to leave much hanging out, and this dress was a wonderful answer to what I was looking for. I ended up dressing as a zombie flapper, as only the dress is provided, and I got many compliments and questions as to where I got it.
