Finally, Gas Cans That Make Sense Again
After years of frustration with the spill‑prone EPA‑mandated nozzles, these replacement spouts are a breath of fresh air. They fit perfectly on standard 5‑gallon gas cans and restore the simplicity and reliability of a traditional nozzle. The set includes everything needed (flexible spouts, screw collar caps, thicker gaskets, and vent caps) for better controlled pouring. Installation is straightforward, and the improved flow makes fueling tasks quicker and safer imo. Highly recommended for anyone fed up with cumbersome EPA designs and looking to make their gas cans practical again.

Good deal and works
I put these on 3 different brands of fuel containers without a problem. A little tight going on first time but after that they screwed off and on perfectly, a lot cheaper than buying new containers for sure.

Fixes poorly designed, leaky, "eco-friendly" spouts on gas cans!
YAY - no more leaking gas. I have four 5 gal cans (B0007M4VRO). Nice cans but the design of the spouts that is supposed to reduce spills & air pollution actually creates more leaks than the old simple style - and is slower, making holding a full can a workout. This kit has the course threads needed for the above as well as a fine threads. And has 4 air vents with a drill bit so no guessing what size hole to drill. Install on a flat, seamless surface opposite the spout. The closable vents snap in perfect. You can use the spout caps and leave the spouts on the can but is awkward to store and when going to the gas station to fill up. So I also bought these 4 solid caps (B0BYNLCHLK) and put on these nice bendy spouts when needed. I really only needed 1 spout but needed 4 vents so bought this kit that was cheaper than buying only what I needed separately. Now I have spares if they ever break. I also have a 2 gal can that I fill from the 5 gal cans for lawn mower and motorcycles that is way easier to hold and dispense. HINT: use non-ethanol gas that stores 4 times longer, is better for carbureted engines, and does not eat rubber & plastic in your engines.

Great fit. Easy pouring.
Perfect upgrade for my old fuel containers with those annoying spring loaded spout. Makes fueling easy again.

Govt. gas can fix
I was worried at first, couldn't figure out the part that looks like a kids bubble maker, it doesn't really fit. And I really didn't want the spout sticking up 6-8 inches since there's not much clearance in the pickup bed w/ the torneau cover down. But they send enough different components so it can be modified to fit the spout inside the jug with the cap tightly sealed. Suggestion: Empty the jug a few days prior and let it air out so not to worry about drill bit heat and easy to remove any plastic particles inside. Other than that I did three in about 12 minutes and I'm an old man. I have not filled or poured one yet so we'll see about that. Realistically, it's cheap, chinese junk..but a clever fix for those horrible govt. gas cans. I hope they work.

Updated review after I figured out I was doing it wrong.
I am leaving the text of my original review below but updating it with the understanding that I figured out what I was doing wrong. Hopefully this will help others. What traditionally would have been a loop that allowed the cap to remain attached to the spout does not apply in this case. The cap with the loop is for older cans with a screw on cap for the vent. There is a separate cap for the spout that does not attach like expected. So yes you can drop the actual spout cap and have to find it or buy another one. Seems like the designers might know a thing or two about forcing repeat sales. That being said it should have been a lot more obvious. As a deceased friend always said “You’re doing it wrong.” Turns out I was. Original review below. The spouts seem well made until you try to put the caps on the spouts. The caps will not fit over the threads allowing it to remain connected to the spout. Secondly the caps will not thread onto the spouts. They will only cross thread. It appears the spout is simply too large or the cap is too small. The heavy rubber gaskets are nice but if the cap won’t thread onto properly it’s useless.

They fit a standard gas can. I like the fact you don't have to take the spout off to close it off.

great value now have 4 jerry cans that can be used again without leaking gas everywhere, particularly like the screw on cap for the nozzle for transport
