I have bought this item multiple times over the last 4 years because it worked so well. Since June 2024, I have bought it 4 times. Two as gifts and now twice for myself. Last July I bought a new Samsung S24 and bought a new Scosche kit for it. About a month ago, my phone fell off the mount in the car. I put it back and it fell again, this time with the magnet backer showing it had slipped on my phone. As with my previous orders, I had cleaned the phone before applying the magnet. I think the only difference was the protective label on the adhesive didn't say anything before. Now it reads 3M 9080A. I know 3M, so I find it hard to believe it's their adhesive, but unless it's the Samsung finish, which it stuck to for a year, what else could it be? I had to use the second magnet in the kit from last year. Once again, while in Walmart, I took my phone out of my belt holster and the magnetic piece had come loose and momentarily held onto my holster and I dropped my phone. The magnet came off the phone and fell on the floor, adhesive down. I tried to pick it up, but it was stuck to the floor. The Walmart supervisor was very helpful, but wound up bending the magnet trying to scrap it up off the floor. That's when I bought the latest set. The first magnet I used, dropped my cell phone in the car again and I tried pressing it back on, but it dropped again. and literally fell off my phone onto the floor of the car. I used the second magnet that comes in the kit last night. After using the provided wipe, I even added weight over the magnet to hopefully create a better bond. I left it on overnight. I will be driving around noon so it will have had at least 14 hours to adhere. I didn't have to do that with any of the other sets I bought. I contacted Amazon/Scosche via a call and their electronic voice is sending a replacement set and I will return the last package or they will charge me in September. I can only give it 2 stars as the primary function, holding my cell phone in the car, doesn't work. It's sad to me that a reliable product is no longer working. If the replacements don't work, I will start the search for a replacement product to use. Thank you.

Phone falls off too often when the car hits a pothole, speed bump, dip in the road, etc, even at low speed. The magnet isn't strong enough. Enough of an issue that I can't continue to use this mount.

THESE HAVE BEEN A LIFESAVER- I HAVE THE VENTS THAT MOVE LEFT AND RIGHT SO NOT VERY EASY TO KEEP MY PHONE ATTACHED WHEN USING OTHER MAGNETIC PHONE HOLDERS- THESE ARE PROVEN TO BE THE EXCEPTION- VERY HAPPY WITH THE PURCHASE- OF COURSE IT ALSO HELPS THAT MY PHONES CASES HAVE A BUILT-IN MAGNET IN THE CENTER OF THEM SO MAKES USING THESE A BREEZE!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
