Impressive little saw!
The media could not be loaded. Pretty impressive capabilities for its size. I have the Saker 6" saw and bought this primarily for the 8" blade. I have only used it for a couple days but tried to run it hard for the review as I mostly bought it for emergency use to keep in the rear garage of my camper van (#vanlife lol). We camp off grid and regularly encounter downed trees blocking the woods roads so I have been carrying a full size chainsaw but it takes up so much precious room. This thing is ideal. I tried the Saker 6" and while it's fine and does what supposed to, I really wanted more cutting ability and saw this 8" Stonecho version. It's light and can easily be used with one hand. It has the push button battery monitor to see how much is left. It has a brush-less motor which is nice as they are known to last longer and be more energy efficient. But the real win for me is the 8" blade. Sure it has a 6" blade too and that will add to the versatility and usability, but the 8" blade can get a lot of work done. I will include some pictures I took showing the huge difference a 2" diameter makes on trees and showing the size comparison of the Stonecho vs. the Saker. I took a few videos too but it turns out I'm not good at videoing and cutting at the same time so only one turned out. I was able to get about 10 full cuts on trees the size you see in the pictures as well as a bunch of little branches with each battery. This is more than plenty for what I want it to do. The only real gripe I have is that it doesn't fit in the case with the 8" blade on. While this is annoying and adds a minute to the set up before using, I don't think it's enough to dock it any stars. I'm really just impressed it cut such big trees. I also wish it had some small spikes like a full size saw. I did get this with the current manufacturers coupon so I didn't pay the full $100 asking price but I do feel it is worth that much to me after using it. Oh, and a bonus, I didn't stink like chainsaw all day after using it. This will be a great addition to the van and I will be getting my father one to keep in his truck for working around the farm.

Chains shaw portable good
thank you the product was well received complete no damage I am a carpenter chair maker found it very helpful to use this tool the product is very complete blade complete get glovesI started trying to cut wood with this tool, feeling like it was being cut very quickly, easily and without any resistancevery sharp blade and strong enough power to cut a small treewhen I want to cut wood that is dense enough I use an 8 inch blade and an 8 inch chain to make it easier to cutthe advantage of this tool also does not require electrical energy we only need to charge the batterythe motor gear of this machine works well without any slip or stuckOverall, for the price, I am surprisingly happy with this tool set and would buy it again as a gift for someone who needs a set of tools at home but may not have any yetI really liked the mini chainsaw. It is handy to use with just one hand so I can use the other hand to pull away the branches I want to cut. It is powerful enough to cut all the small branchesI’m amazed at the power of this saw. Use it to cut through branches. Didn’t think it could handle 8 inch in diameter log but easily handled.the price is very affordable but the benefits provided are extraordinary and help with work, thank you very much

VERY GOOD PRODUCT SO FAR.
EVERYTHIBG CAME AS DESCRIBED. IT IS NOT HEAVY OR AWKWARD TO HANDLE SO.... IT IS EASY TO HANDLE. SEEMS TO CUT OK. I ONLY USED IT ONCE SO FAR CONSISTANTLY FOR MAYBE 30 TO 45 MINUTES. IT CUT FINE AND THE BATTERY DID NOT NEED TO BE CHARGED IN THAT AMOUNT OF TIME SO PRETTY GOOD.

Pays for itself the first day of use
My home has huge, unruly butterfly/bird gardens on both sides, with a conservation area in the rear. For many years, I have been pruning/removing small and medium trees with a one-man crosscut saw (I use a corded Poulan chainsaw for big trees). This handheld saw has instantly surpassed all my hopes and expectations. Light weight, safety cover on top of the blade, long battery life (plus a spare battery), and extremely effective. You may have to use it to appreciate how easy it is to employ. Believe it!I have not even had to use the 8" blade yet --- the 6" really punches above its weight. The absence of an automatic oiler is appreciated, too --- one less thing to worry about. Just keep a squeeze bottle of light grade chain oil handy and apply as needed.Obviously, I could not be more pleased with this purchase. It has slashed the time and effort required to keep my small and medium trees under control. Five Stars all the way!

Pretty powerful saw
I have been eyeing one of these power hand saws for quite some time. I'm new to the whole power saw concept so I was a bit apprehensive. I have alot of overgrown bushes as well as branches from a neighbors tree that are extremely invasive. I happened to come across this saw and I am so happy I did. I'd like to begin by saying that this is a great company. If you happen to be missing a piece or are unsure how to change the chain, there is someone that will be happy to assist you. The saw came well packaged in a handy storage case. I love the fact that you get two batteries. When one dies, you have another ready to go. I was a bit confused when changing the chain but with videos, I caught on quick. I have very large hands so the gloves didn't quite fit, which is no problem at all. Once I got the batteries charged and the chain all set, I was ready to see this bad boys power. Impressive! The saw rotates at such a high speed. You can tell it has some oomph to get the job done. I tried it out on some shrubbery and then attacked those half dead branches. I attached a photo so you could see what I was able to cut through. This thing is going to come in handy. Don't let the price fool you into thinking this is cheaply made. Give the saw a shot if you enjoy being handy around the yard.

Sharpness, battery life , price
When I purchased this mini chainsaw I was not expecting a lot but let me start by telling you how wrong I was.The battery lasts a long time and they even include 2 of them which helps you out when you’re hacking away all day.Using the chainsaw is simple, easy to set up, has a very sturdy feel in your hands and it cuts very well. They have also included things which you can use to clean it, which comes in specially handy when your working with large areas. It has alot of things as well to keep you safe while your working, they even provide you with gloves and safety glasses 😅I think the chainsaw is perfect, it’s portable, it’s easy to use and the price doesn’t break the bank. It’s perfect for a diy person.

Exceptional Power in a Compact Form - A Game Changer!
As a seasoned gardener, I've had my share of experiences with different gardening tools, and this mini chainsaw has revolutionized my gardening routine. I purchased it with the hope that it would be easy to use, efficient, and a worthwhile investment - and it didn't disappoint. The first thing that stood out to me was how lightweight and compact this chainsaw is. Despite its size, it packs a surprising punch when it comes to power. It effortlessly cuts through small to medium branches, which previously took considerable effort with traditional tools. The battery life is another feature that needs to be appreciated. It lasts for a solid few hours of intermittent use, which is more than enough for my gardening needs. The charging time is equally impressive, requiring just a few hours to reach full charge.Safety has been an integral part of the design. The protective guard over the chain, the non-slip handle, and the safety lock button offer a sense of security that is essential when handling such a tool. Additionally, it's surprisingly quiet, making for a much more pleasant and less disruptive experience than the louder tools in my shed. One of my favorite features is the tool-free chain adjustment. It is quick and easy to tighten or replace the chain without having to rummage around for the right tool. This chainsaw also scores high on durability. After several months of frequent use, it still performs as well as the day I got it.The user manual is clear and comprehensive, which was very helpful when I first started using the chainsaw. Customer service has also been top-notch, promptly responding to my queries and providing helpful solutions. This mini chainsaw has been an absolute gem, improving the efficiency of my work while saving me considerable time and effort. Whether you're a seasoned gardener, DIY enthusiast, or just need a handy tool for general yard work, I can't recommend this product highly enough.

A game changer in the garden
I have just completed using this chain saw to remove 15 metres of Laurel bushes all about 2m high. The trunks at the bottom were all about 10cm thick and I have to say this is the best value for money I have ever spent on garden equipment. I only used the six inch chain and one tip is to regularly oil the chain. This keeps it in tip top condition and prolongs the life of the chain. If the wood starts burning then you need to oil the chain as friction is taking over rather than cutting. Very easy to tension the chain too and a simple double press on switch ensures the safety of your hands. The chain stops instantly too which is vital in case of accidental use.Although a pair of protective glasses are enclosed these are a bit flimsy so I used my own. You need to ensure you either use these or others due to flying sawdust. One other tip.. the batteries come charged but I gave them both a boost charge before use (charger light turns green when fully charged) as they had lost a small amount of charge and this prolongs their use.A five star piece of kit that is so lightweight yet packs a punch

Great for my needs
This is perfect for my needs. Cutting up thick branches off the tree at the back of my garden. It's very easy to use and has some decent power considering it's battery operated and not mains. The battery lasts ages and as it comes with a spare there is always a fully charged battery for when I need it. Having 2 diffent sizes, 6" and 8" is a bonus and I like how it has a spare chain for each size and even comes with gloves. It's quite lightweight considering what it is. I like how it has the safety guard on it and it handles well and effortless. Def worth the money.

A Useful Tool with a Two Year Warranty
Purchased this handsaw in June 23. Used first time today 30.10.23. Cut seasoned branches 5 inches diameter. Saw worked well and easy to use but slow in comparison to normal chainsaw. Advise to keep the chain well oiled during use and clean throughly before placing back in box. Only issue I have is the cost of spare replacement battery at 50 pounds. Total nonsense. If it lasts two season I will be happy.
