Hammerite 5084831 Direct to Rust Metal Paint - Hammered Dark Green Finish 250ML

Hammerite is an excellent paint goes off in a short time and covers well, quite expensive for the amount you get.

Used it on a Vice I was refurbishing, the tin looked tiny but it does seem to go a long way, painted a large Vice I was refurbishing & barely used any out the tin, once dried it gives a nice finish & I really like the colour

Researched quite a bit before buying this paint. just done a test patch today on my bandsaw, a little disappointed with end result. There is not a hammered finish but neither is it smooth. Put it on as directions of the tin using a small water colour child's paint brush. Also I checked it after 10 hrs and it was still tacky, after 24 hrs it was dry. What I will say is it is a beautiful 2 tone colour green, so hay ho , I'm painting the whole saw anyway.

This this paint is brilliant it just covers over the rust and gives a fabulous finish I have to put two coats on something particularly difficult. I will always use this to paint metal.

I bought green and it is such a nice colour. It goes on easy and dries quickly and looks so good when dry. Very good price too.
