Smooth and Quiet, But Not Perfect These office chair replacement wheels definitely upgrade the rolling experience compared to the standard plastic casters most chairs come with. The rubber material glides smoothly on hardwood floors without scratching, and they also handle low-pile carpet reasonably well. I especially appreciate that they don’t make that annoying rattling sound when moving around—these really are quiet. Installation was simple: just pull the old ones out and pop these in, no tools required. The universal sizing seems accurate since they fit my chair without issue. They feel sturdy and give a nice sense of stability. That said, they’re on the smaller side at 2 inches. If you’re used to larger casters (like 3"), you might notice the chair doesn’t roll quite as effortlessly over thicker carpet or thresholds. Also, because of their smaller diameter, they don’t raise the chair height as much, which might be a pro or con depending on your desk setup. Bottom line: A good upgrade over stock chair wheels—smooth, quiet, and safe for floors. Just keep in mind the smaller size if you need to roll over thicker carpet or uneven surfaces.

Love these chair casters! I had a desk chair for several years that was very nice, but just had flat sliders attached and was hard to move around. I got the idea to check to see if they could be removed and switched for caster wheels. The 5 sliders were removable and the caster wheels just popped right in! Great price and looks great!

I am writing this review so that others are better informed about the product. The product description said these were soft rubber wheels. However, these wheels were hard plastic. Very disappointing.
