Economical, fast and sleek
When my old laptop unexpectedly died, I was in desperate need for a new laptop to move my work forward towards deadlines. I was glad to find this Vivobook from ASUS, which I know is a reputable company with great track record of computers/laptops. The price was a pleasant surprise, compared to other comparable models on the market. It arrived quickly, was painless to set up and running, and has been very easy to work with so far. For simply navigating internet and handle day-to-day duties it has been a great laptop, and I have no complaint so far. Love the color (silver) and design, the size is very manageble in portability, and the keyboard is very responsive. With the price point, I am very happy with this purchase. I imagine this should be a great laptop for school, basic business application and individual options for most laptop users.

This was perfect for what I needed as a remote web designer
I did ultimately have to return this laptop due to unforeseen circumstances, but if it had been up to me - I would have 100% kept it. It's light and sleek with a smaller charger (huge for me), which is something I was looking for when traveling and needing to work from wherever. It ran incredibly well when I had several CPU-intensive programs open, and other laptops I've had in the past could not even handle Adobe Photoshop being open and Chrome at the same time. I never played games on this laptop, but from the ram alone - I do not think it would have been an issue. I highly recommend this laptop to creatives, and those who are looking for a faster and reliable experience, especially while traveling.

Very good laptop
It isn't a powerhouse for games but that isn't why I bought this. The build quality is pretty good for a $377 laptop. Easy to use for something so compact that I can place in a bag. The only downside is the storage but the price is good

Performance is great for that price!
Performance is great! Functionality and design is great! The screen quality is not too good. If you don't care screen quality or you pretend to use it with a better external monitor then is ok. Otherwise it could be very annoying for your eyes.

Less Expensive than Zenbook
I had a Zenbook that I loved. The touchpad stopped working, then the ports. I decided to get a new computer, but the Zenbook I wanted was too much for me at that moment. The Vivobook had many review and I was able to save a lot of money on it. I have been very happy using it and would consider buying one again in the future.

3 year old Laptop represented as new!
I hate to do this via review but seems to be the only way to communicate on Amazon. I bought this computer April 5th, 2025 and this morning May 19th, 2025, it's evidently had some kind of crash that's going to require it to go back to Asus. I've been on the phone with their technical support for about an hour today when I'm supposed to be on vacation. This computer was built March 2022. So in asus's eyes it's out of warranty. The listing did not indicate that nor did it say it might have been refurbished. I thought I was buying a new computer built more recently and would include the full manufacturer's warranty. So I am now left with sending this thing back to Asus on my own dime and I haven't even owned it 2 months! I suppose it's the sign of the times.

It’s good
I got this laptop and it works good. Only problem is that when I touch it, my body is giving off electric shocks when I touch another object or person. The battery seems to be draining over night when I close just the top screen. It took me some time to learn where the power off button is, so now I shut down laptop instead of just closing the top. I still need to play around and learn other functions since Windows has made a significant update since I last used it in the early 2000s.
