Fit great, made my binoculars work better

Binocular eyepieces measure 39 mm. Description says these eye cups are suitable for 39 to 42 mm. The eye cups received are much too large and do not fit. Will be returning. Edit to above. Not only are the size of these eyepieces falsely advertised, the free returns also turns out to be false. I was charged a re-stocking fee when returned. IMO AVOID.

Be cautious when ordering these, say thirty nine millimeters, but they don't have the groove to go into the slot of the binocular. They slip over the lens area, but they do not fit tightly

At least what I received did look mostly like the photos. But they were still not useful. Did not fit. The rubber was contorted into a strange shape, possibly from storage under a heavy weight? But at least the intended shape was achievable if you held it there. The 2 different types of pieces included are for different sizes of eyepiece. The rubber pieces are too big to fit and the plastic caps are too small! I use an AmScope Stereo microscope. Pretty standard fare. 30mm diameter widefield eyepieces. The dimensions called out in the description are outside dimensions which have no actual bearing on fitment. Both parts are intended to fit OVER the mating eyepiece, so it is the inner diameter that is important. "About 40mm" in one photo is as close as the description gets. The white plastic cups are useless. The rubber cups might be pressed into service if you also have the standard AmScope flat eyepiece rubbers. These rubbers with side shields will loosely fit over the stock flat rubbers. They fall off easily, but it is better than nothing in a pinch. I have a problem with room light from the side illuminating my eyeball. I then see the reflection of my eye in the glass eyepiece. I still have that problem despite these ill fitting cups. They don't make a good face seal and still let outside light in.

These look like they could be useful. Unfortunately they are nothing at all like the photos or the description. The items I received were much smaller in diameter and did not have any of the various lips shown in the photos. Basically little different from cutting up a bicycle inner tube. Absolute junk. Also didn’t receive the eyepiece dust covers that were claimed to be included. Don’t care much about the dust covers, but the eye cups not matching the photo or description makes them utterly useless. DO NOT BUY - scam listing.

Not as good as the pair I lost, but beats being without. Waiting to see if they age well.
