A very sharp bread knife. Looks good, has a good balance between handle and blade. Cuts my sourdough loaf easily!

I bought this knife and I definitely was looking for a knife that was not made in Japan. I saw German steel on it and when it arrived, it was made in China. Needless to say, I felt deceived and not happy about that. But as I looked around, the Steel is made in Germany and they make the knives in China, but I have to say this is one of the best knives we have it is amazingly sharp like razor sharp. It feels good in the hand. It does not roll and it cuts right through the toughest artesian breads but be careful because you’ll take your knuckles off before you know it. This is definitely a five star product. I am pleased.

This is the best bread knife I have right now for my sourdough bread. It cuts through the bread perfectly whether you want a thin slice or a thick slice. What a great value for the price. If you are looking for a great bread, knife for any type of bread, whether the crust is hard or soft this is the one to get.

This is the best bread knife I’ve had. It cuts through freshly baked bread or a few days old like butter. It makes quick work of bagels. It even cuts crusty baguettes easily. It’s also very large so you don’t have to carve as much. Just slice through with ease. It is al pretty lightweight for the length. And it’s very comfortable to use/the grip is a good size and is a good fit for both me and my husband. Cleaning has been easy. And I like the tip guard for storage.

I’ve been really impressed with the Piklohas Bread Slicer and 10-inch Bread Knife Set! The design is thoughtful and sleek, and the **horizontal cutting layout** makes it so much easier to get even, consistent slices. The **adjustable thickness** is a huge plus—it works well for everything from sandwich slices to thicker pieces for toast or French toast. The crumb tray is also a nice touch and makes cleanup super easy. And let me just say—the German HC stainless steel knife is SHARP. It glides through fresh loaves like butter and feels durable and well-balanced in the hand. My only wish is that there was some sort of mechanism to help hold the bread in place while slicing. Occasionally, the loaf shifts a bit, especially with softer breads, so a stabilizer or grip feature would make an already great product even better. Sadly this bread slicer with bread knife did not work for me. When trying to slice the bread, the knife would also cut into the wood, plus the bread when cutting would come out thick on one side & thin on other side. It would of helped to have a metal brace on each side when cutting to keep from cutting the wood. Good ideal, but not when it doesn't work correctly. Update: giving a 5 stars to Distributors of this product as they did reach out to me & even sent a another bread slicer with a small tweak to see if that product would work better for me. So love this ideal of this bread slicer, but I still had problems with being able to keep the knife from cutting or chipping the wood. This is a learning experience for me & hopefully in time I'll be able to lay & keep the knife on the wooden sides without cutting the wood. PS - the knife with this product is also amazing, sharp & cuts homemade bread easy, just be careful when using it.
