Smashed my case but the remote still worked. Dealership said this wouldn’t work without programming it. They were wrong. This replacement case cost me $10. Dealership wanted to sell me a new remote and program it. It would have cost me over $300. So glad I tried this!!!

Fit great easy change out I would highly recommend

The shells came with no instructions. If you’re not familiar with how to open and close this type of shell can be somewhat difficult. Otherwise it is a good replacement fit.

The 4 button key fob case was exactly as shown in the ad. It was easy to assemble! The hardest part was disassembling the factory key fob to get to the transmitter (be careful not to damage the transmitter). The only tool needed was a flat blade pocket screwdriver.

Awesome. Not quite as high quality as the GM ones but for the price I'm super impressed. Nice not having buttons wore all the way through.

When changing the battery in my original key fob it broke. So I ordered this one and it has been so great. I had no idea I could change the key fob and not have to get one programmed. It was easy to change my old one to the new one. The buttons are more sensitive now that I changed it and that’s something I like as well. Overall if you’re in the market for a new key fob and this one is the right replacement I’d recommend it. If I ever need another one I’ll purchase this one again for sure

Initially, I ordered one of these replacement Chevy key fob shells. It was delivered quickly and appeared as described. The plastic and fastening tabs on this fob are a little different than the original equipment Chevy key fob; the plastic seems to be slightly thinner and the tabs in slightly different locations on the fob. I'd judge the quality of the new fob, probably an 8.5 - 10, as compared to the original equipment fob. Using some small eyeglass type screwdrivers, being gentle, and taking my time, the original key fob was able to be disassembled and the internal "board" was easily transferred and fit properly into this new key fob shell. Before closing the fob for reassembly, I installed a new battery into this new fob and I tested the new fob with my vehicle. All functions worked properly with my vehicle. I then closed/reassembled the fob. It closed easily and securely. This new replacement fob fit easily and comfortably into my pants pocket. Seeing how well this key fob shell worked for me, I purchased a second one to replace the other original key fob that I had. This second one worked as well as the first.I would recommend this product !Note: For one of these two replacement key fob shells, I also purchased a silicone cover. This key fob shell easily slid inside the silicone cover. I purchased the silicone cover to protect the plastic of the fob from "clacking" against the steering column of my vehicle and also to cushion the fob from possible scratching or damage during normal use and/or if dropped. This replacement key fob inside of the silicone cover works well.

Pictured one shows to be chrome sides but it is just painted black. It was easy to put the innards from the original inside of the new case. And now the key fobs work great.
