Troxel Spirit Duratec Full Coverage Horse Riding Helmet, Low-Profile Adjustable Design, Safety Horseback Riding Gear

Since I insist on the highest level of safety, our eight-year-old daughter wears a full coverage, Snell Foundation approved motorcycle helmet for all of her regular horseback riding. However, we ordered this helmet for use in her occasional competitive trail riding at shows. She is a big girl for her age, a very tall with a medium build (90 pounds). We used Troxel's recommended size according to their sizing information and It fits her perfectly with a little room for growth. She used it in her first competitive riding a couple of days ago and absolutely LOVED it. She likes the color and style, and found it to be VERY comfortable, even while wearing it basically all day. If you are looking for a great helmet at a reasonable price, look no further. I also have to say a big "Thank You" to our Seller, Myhoovesandpaws. We had been holding off buying one of these helmets as long as we could, hoping there would be a drop in price by one of the Amazon sellers. When that didn't happen, we just went ahead and bought it from Myhoovesandpaws because they had the lowest price. We were surprised that we received the helmet very quickly (it wasn't an Amazon Prime item), but found our Seller was actually a small local family-owned and operated company located just about 25 miles from us. Since my wife and I also own a small family business, we were very happy to have unknowingly purchased the helmet from these folks. Well, things got even better. Just a day after we ordered the helmet, which was even before we received it, Myhoovesandpaws dropped their price by $10.00. I reached out to them via email right away, asking if they would be willing to refund the difference to us. Without hesitation they immediately agreed to do so. Just a few days later, they had Amazon issue us a refund for that $10.00, plus sales tax. In the process of this, and subsequently, I communicated directly with the owner, Tim. and I found him to be a very knowledgeable and friendly guy. I purchased this helmet for my 5 yr old, who's getting started on horse riding. I couldn't be impressed! The fir is secure and comfy, the adjustable dial makes it easy to get a good snug fit as he grows. It's lightweight but sturdy and protective. Highly recommend for any rider, worth a buy! Durable, easy enough to use, easy to clean and looks great in pictures too! 🐎

This helmet fits well is durable, lightweight, and has great ventilation.

Definitely not a fancy helmet, but does the job. Use it for my trail rides when I don’t wanna scrape up a nice helmet great product for the cost. Have not taken a fall in it so cannot speak from that side of things

I got this in the largest size possible my head is quite large (7 5/8”). Purple color was all they had at the time esp for the price range as a first helmet - so I got this to start as a new student English riding. great so far the purple is a very nice soft royal color many compliments (unexpected) but more importantly the fit is great lots of ways to adjust to tighten from the back and lightweight on my head. Highly recommend

This is comfortable and fits well. It's light and non intrusive, easy to forget you have it on.

Absolutely love the fit of this helmet. Snug but not too snug, I can adjust it as needed, it's super LIGHTWEIGHT. And it is not bulky unlike other Troxel helmets I've tried. However I am not happy that it was delivered with scratches all over it. I checked the helmet and it's not broken anywhere, but the way it was packaged made it susceptible to being scratched. There was no bubble wrap or packing paper in the box, so the helmet had room to move and get scratched. Using this for shows so I'm hoping I can fix the scratches.

Perfect size, good quality, true black color, true to size, comfortable, seems durable, she said she does not get overheated, not heavy, easy to put on and adjust, reasonable priced… arrived quickly. Thankful this provides some safety when riding! Highly recommend! 👍👏🏻
