Used this a few times now on my 2 horses, it is great! They’ve not once come up with sores on they’re legs they’re protected from mug fever ! And it’s brilliant! Value for money is brill, very easy to use. The smell isn’t to strong for the horses comfort. Happy will definitely order more! Goes a long way!

Cleared up my Shetlands mud fever! Had to shave all his legs cleaned the areas and applied this bite back cream, easy to apply and very kind to skin, no stinging just soothing. Applied two to three times a day, and now after two weeks completely clear and his hair is growing back nicely! So handy to keep in the veterinary box as I’m sure it would be good for any cuts also.

My horse had really quite bad black scabs on white heels, never had this before, poor boy. Anyway within 24 hours of using this product his heels were so much better. This product is excellent!

Works reasonably well but tub is too small to gauge as it barely covered one application

I discovered mud fever on our gelding and purchased this… I went every morning (usually on livery) and applied the cream before turn out for a week! By day 5 the mud fever had nearly gone, scabs were off and overall legs looked miles better! However I have gone through half a tub within a week. I also don’t go to the farm until evenings and his legs are too muddy then, so I will have to change to a barrier cream that does not need to be applied every day! Changed to a 7 day product moving forward, however it has cleared the mud fever and clearly works. Just not for you if your never there when the ponies legs are dry…

I bought this for my horse’s mud fever. His legs were very sore and scabby. It’s completely cleared it up, so I’m very happy and relieved not to have to call the vet. It’s also a reasonable price and is a nice soothing formula and easy to use. I’ll definitely repurchase and will keep reapplying as a barrier cream.

Been battling sores on my old cobs legs for years, had £40 a tub creams from the vets but this cream worked a treat, cleared up almost completely within a few weeks!
