Quick to install. Works great.

My old cabinet hinges were not the soft close type and one of them recently started failing. They are 16 years old and harder to find, so I looked into the new soft close stuff. The old hinges are the Grass 860 02 model. You can see this number in the cup of the hinge. These new Grass TEC 864 108 Degree 1/2" hinges are a drop-in replacement. The existing mortise and screw holes are a perfect match. Just remove 3 screws, swap the parts, and screw it back on. It took about 2 minutes per cabinet door to get them changed. It works so well I'm going to change out the whole house.

Easy to install, work well. I just wish they weren't quite so costly. Even though this is about the best $ I have found for the quality. I'm happy I purchased these, maybe will buy more later.

Same as the old ones but with the soft close feature. Removed three screws, popped the old one out and put the new one in. Took only a couple minutes and worked great. The three position adjuster is unnecessary. It goes from soft close, which we all want, to close fast to slam (like the one I replaced. Price is good. Shipping was fast.

I was looking for a slow close option for all the cabinets in the house (kitchen, bathrooms, etc). My current cabinets had Grass cabinet hinges model 860 02. The make/model is written on the inside of the hinge. The Rok Hardware Grass TEC 864 108 hinges are drop in replacements for 860 02's. I tried only replacing one hinge thinking I would only need to replace half the hinges, but the gap between the cabinet door and the cabinet face is just enough different that it caused the door to not sit level. So I ended up replace all the hinges. Now the cabinet doors close without making a sound. Other's mentioned the doors close slowly, but I didn't find that to be an issue.

We had existing slow-close cabinets in our new house, however some of the cabinets didn't close slow enough... turns out not all of the latches had the slow close "cams" in them - a small metal and plastic piece that is what actually causes the cabinets to close slowly. So we bought these latches just for the cam guts, they pop out and right into our ROK latches. Now all of our cabinets close super slow just how we like!
