These lights are delicate-looking, but are quite sturdy. My granddaughters each received two strings for Christmas and each had her personal take on displaying them — across a headboard, in and around a lampshade, and twined in plain a pair of plain stick wreaths (my personal favorite). The girls range in age from seven to twelve and had no trouble with their displays. I highly recommend this product.

These lights are just happiness but they use a lot of AA BATTERIES, 3 in the case. Go ahead and buy your batteries in bulk on Amazon. It has a remote with a timer which helps save the batteries life

Love how it’s so long. Got this for my stairway. I was able to wrap around two small trees after the railing. After 2 weeks the batteries are already draining and lights are very dim. Have to change them every few weeks for the season. Thought they’d last longer; I only have them in 4-5 hours a night.

There's not a ton I can say about these fairy lights. They're as advertised and not any different from the trillion other battery-powered fairy light strings out there. I will say that for many decorative uses, i.e. not just for a holiday display or what have you, you'll want to get a USB or mains-powered string if at all possible, and if it's not possible to get power to where you want the lights, then at least get a version with a built-in timer function. Three AA batteries will last about a month with the lights on for about 8 hours a day, and by the end of the month they'll have gotten quite dim. I haven't had these long enough to speak about the longevity of the LEDs themselves, but in my experience these strings use the cheapest possible LEDs and overdrive them so they're brighter, which means they degrade over time, and after a year or so of steady use, even brand new batteries will be markedly dimmer than a new set. That's disappointing and annoying because it's just more e-waste for maybe five cents savings for the manufacturer. I do hope the Amazon Basics branded strings have better LEDs that will last for years.

Got them for Xmas decorations but they are too pretty to put away.

I use these for oyster Christmas trees and I love them.

I liked how easy they were to use . I used them to light up my Santa Claus Figurines.
