My older homeschooled kids use abacuses from RightStart Math to do math and my toddler always wanted to join in. I got her this one because I like that it can stand up on its own but it isn't too big to lay it on her lap either. The abacus is sturdy and nicely made, with no rough spots. The little tray at the top works well with the numeral cards but we don't use those yet. The counting sticks made a mess on the floor with the cards and are put away for the time being. But they also seem well made.

I chose this particular one because it's arranged in 5's and seemed less busy with only 2 colors...My 6 year old really struggled with the size... He needed bigger beads.Also, the way they're ordered with only 2 colors is pretty disorienting for kids with dyscalcula. Now I know!

I got this to get my daughter understand better math

Good basic math trick with this one.Taught my toddler to add and subtract. Glad he looks at this as a toy and like to learn counting with it.

Cool concept and nice set, but the quality isn't great. But the price is reasonable, so you do the math on whether it works for you.

Wer eine kurze Einführung sucht sollte nach den Videos des Deutschen Museums München zu diesem Thema suchen, in denen Heinz Molter in 10 Minuten eine hervorragende Einführung gibt.Zum Produkt:Ordentliche Qualität in Holz zum Preis von knapp 20 Euro. Das skandinavische Möbelhaus bietet ein vergleichbares Muster an. Im Unterschied zu diesem gibt es aber keine Rechenleiste mit den Aufgaben - was gerade für Schüler der unteren Klassen sinnvoll ist - und auch keine Rechenstäbchen.Insgesamt würde ich deshalb diesem Produkt den Vorzug geben.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Rechenrahmen. Er ist stabil, bunt und leicht zu bedienen. Die Zählstäbe sind aus Holz und haben eine angenehme Größe für kleine Hände. Die Zahlenkarten sind klar und gut lesbar. Mein Kind hat viel Spaß damit, die Grundrechenarten zu üben und zu verstehen. Der Rechenrahmen ist auch eine tolle Ergänzung zum Matheunterricht in der Grundschule. Ich kann dieses Produkt nur empfehlen! Gut auch als Geschenk zur Einschulung.
