Superb fit and finish
The Beautiful seafoam green caught my eye and I don't own a p and J pick up combo so I thought at 129.00 no big deal if it sucks . So this thing is absolutely amazing. From fit to finish it appears to be about flawless. The neck pocket is nice and tight. To get a Rosewood board, roasted maple neck at this price is insane. Although the pickups are cheap ceramics they sound really good and I might not even swap them out. Fret work is a 7 or 8 out of 10 , and fine just as it is or you can polish them up a little bit but no snags to speak of. I was able to get the action nice and low just as I like. The star wheel truss rod adjustment at the heel is a nice touch and I've never seen it on instruments this inexpensive. Kudos for getting the bridge spacing right and the strings lined up correctly with the pole pieces, something other manufacturers just can't seem to do and it boggles the imagination. Although completely unnecessary I swapped out for a high mass zinc bridge for a tone I like and a bit more sustain and it took this to the next level for me. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. I think Fojill may have the edge on their competitors here on Amazon. I hope they continue to crank out amazing instruments like the one I got. For reference I'm a 30-year player with basses in the $3000 to $5,000 range and I could play this all day long

Jazz Bass on the Cheap
I got the pink jazz bass style. I've always played a P bass and wanted an inexpensive jazz bass to play around with. I was not disappointed by this bass. It has a wider 42mm nut and a thick, chunky neck, unlike a Fender or Squier Jazz Bass - this is a plus for me. The paint looks good, all electronics work well, tuners work well, and tuning stability is very good. The bass needs no fret work and very little setup work out of the box. It does indeed have a roasted maple neck and a bone nut (huge bonus in this price range) but the fretboard is not real rosewood, as expected. Beveled fretboard edge feels good. I put an old set of D'Addario Chrome Flats on it from my other bass and it sounds and feels great. Only complaints: packaging needs improvement. The bottom strap button was dented inward, an easy fix though. A few small bumps on the finish on the back of the neck that I will have to carefully sand down. Small hairline cracks(?) in the fretboard, but they don't look like they'll be a problem. The gig bag is actually better than expected and has some padding, albeit not much. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this bass, especially for the low price I paid.

A very good bang for buck, but be aware
Solid bass and a LOT better than some of the other cheap basses I've bought here. The neck is straight, the bone nut is fitted properly, no fret ends or uneven frets. The neck is definitely a PBass shape - wide and thick. Played decent out of the box but needed a setup after new strings. That's normal for any bass. Here's the "aware" part - they use non-standard parts. I replaced the bridge pickup but the cavity isn't standard Jazz Bass dimensions. The replacement pickup would not fit until I did a little routing with a Dremel. I'll be replacing the Split pickup also, I guess I'll find out if it's non-standard too. It's an easy fix if you're used to tweaking guitars, but it may be beyond a beginner. That said, the stock pickups will do the job and the bass has good "bones". It's a worthy first bass guitar. I'd buy this one before any of the other knock-offs.

Fantastic Bass
Fantastic bass, fit and finish were really good. Pickups were a little weak but fully functional. Case had an issue but Fojil replaced the case, no questions asked thank you Fojil!

Good bass.
Good looking J bass, beautiful roasted maple neck, smooth and no high fret at all. Good paint job. The stock pickup sounds decent enough. The con is the bridge was installed crooked (photo 1), it's not hard to fix tho (photo 2). The bridge pickup was also installed a little bit off center, it won't affect the sound tho. Other than those, it's a very well built bass with decent hardware, the electronic components are basic but operated smoothly. The soldering job is good too. With the low price (cheaper than the hardcase), it's a good buy.

Nice bass, very impressed
Very nice. Was playable out of the box, but needed a setup. The neck pickup is fantastic sounding and the bridge is usable. Very surprising what this bass offers for the price. Was so impressed I got the jazz bass also. The jazz impressed me even more.

Concerns/ expected more for the price point.
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Before wrapping decided I'd better open it up and check it out. Found it wasn't put together properly. Had to undo screws and secure them myself. Concerns stem from not knowing how long it'll last knowing the screws may be loose after having to remove and screw back into the same holes. Hope it holds up for her. Not happy with the build quality at all. Also, you can see some I finished areas in the wood.

I actually feel bad, with the state of inflation right now, this bass could have cost a lot more. It plays amazingly and sounds incredible. This was a gift for my daughter but I can't stop playing it myself. I very strongly recommend this bass and this company, it is proof that you do not need a fender or a Gibson to play great music.
