Great for teens & adults/A must have
Great for easy cooking but most of all the food tastes amazing. It cooks so good. And multiple things too. I use it as well as my kids too. Which are mostly teenagers. And they say how easy it is. They actually have been making their own and not bugging me. I also like to switch up the waffle mix so the kids stay interested. Like add sprinkles to the batter and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Also u have to get powdered sugar to add after u butter ur waffle. Other things my kids put on the waffles are Nutella . Cool whip, chocolate chips in the batter, chocolate syrup and whipped cream with vanilla ice cream.

Great addition to your kitchen.
Not quite as big as I expected, but the size works for what you need. No temp control, but again, it works for what you need. Actually grilled some chicken breasts on the grill plates, and it cooked perfectly. Gonna make some grilled cheese in the panini plates later today. I gave it 4 stars, but I'd definitely buy it again. Just a small tweak allowing you to control the temp, and this is easy 5 stars.

Good Little Sandwich Grill
My husband had been wanting a sandwich grill for quite sometime. We decided on this one and have had a couple of months. We utilize it all the time. I love the interchangeable plates. The plates are really easy to clean and nothing has stuck so far. I've used all the plates and find it cookes and toasts evenly. It doesn't take too long to preheat. The only thing is the cleaning the actual maker, I've accidentally overfill the waffle maker plates and cleaning the area around the plates can be a slight hassle. Overall very happy with the purchase and versatility of the item!

It was not new/unopened.
We had one of these when I was a kid. I loved the toast and sandwiches that sucker made. We used it for years. I saw one being advertised; and decided I wanted to get one myself. But I remember how hard it was to actually clean. So I looked to see if they made one with removable plates. There is was; and it had 3 different sets to boot. Now for the best part (other than it works... so far): The toast does turn out like I remembered it. I actually love the taste of the middle pressed section, and save it for last. So there has been a return to days of old with that part. Those yummy sandwiches and toast are not just a fond memory anymore. That being said: I know that the one we had as a kid wasn't real expensive. We were poor. But this one is even more flimsy. The locking latch on the front doesn't quite line up right. You have to hold both sections, and shift it to lock it closed. Just as many reviews stated: the plates are loose enough to rattle around. But so far it is working. The plates are easy to clean up. But some cheese did get onto the main unit; and it takes some effort to get it out of the joints. But I've been able to clean it up. The aggravating part was the package was not unopened. Not only that... it looked like it had been used: because the plates in the unit were greasy! While the waffle and grill plates were not. I had read at least 1 review that said something similar, and though: "That was probably a fluke. It won't happen to me." How have I not learned to stop saying something like that at my age? But mine wasn't as dirty as they described theirs. It's lightweight (translation: it's cheaply made). But it's working so far. Timing the sandwich or toast by the light never worked on the one as a kid either. You have to just check on it, and let it cook until it's done. Which means having to line it up to re-lock it each time. As I also remember from my childhood: don't expect to make any thick sandwiches. This is still the case. Some lunch meat w/cheese works great. But anything thicker that a sausage paddy is too much. I don't eat waffles; so I don't know how well those plates work. I plan on using the grill plate to make some chicken. I just haven't got around to that yet. In conclusion: you might want to spend a little bit more money; and get a better made one. I'm wishing I had. I don't see this one holding up for years to come.

low quality
Unfortunately, I must say that the quality of this product is very low. One of the main issues I encountered was with the teflon coated plates. To my disappointment, these plates were quickly ruined and began to crack after only a few uses. I took extra care not to dig into them or wash them improperly, but they still deteriorated rapidly. Additionally, the sandwich maker failed to deliver on its basic functionality. The sandwiches I prepared consistently stuck to the plates, making it incredibly difficult to separate them without them falling apart. This resulted in a messy and frustrating experience, as the ingredients failed to stick together as they should. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with this sandwich maker. The poor quality, coupled with the ruined teflon plates and the inability to create well-formed sandwiches, makes it impossible for me to recommend this product. I had high hopes for a convenient and efficient sandwich-making experience, but unfortunately, this sandwich maker fell short in every aspect.

Very nice! Removeable plates are so much easier to clean!
Got this for ease of cleaning plates and versatility of use. It is pretty slow for a waffle iron, but it is really nice for hot dogs or hamburgers. Sandwich function wasn't great for me, but I'm gluten-free and my bread is a goofy size. Super easy to clean and switch plates and the nonstick works pretty well.

It worked well as far as the amount of heat, but the foods popped out of the press because it didn't make even contact with the items being prepared. I sent this sandwich maker back for a refund
