Great item, no instructions but the dash cam easily installs and hides within the rubber edging of the car- lots of YouTube videos to help! The red wire is if you wish to install your rear camera into the rear break lights, but I simply covered the exposed wires with insulation tape and tucked it into the rubber seal. As long as the rear camera is attached to the dash cam, you get a great rear view and with 2 touches of the screen you can see the back cam view to park etc. Records well, but no video is more than 2-3mins because it stops recording if the car is stationary for too long, eg motorway traffic or a stop light, but may also be my programming. However, already been useful and as a new driver is makes me feel more safe in both safety and finances. Really recommend, especially for this price, with good quality images!!

Really pleased with this purchase. A good camera for the price. Easy enough to setup and install in my car. The camera comes with plenty of power cable. I haven't fitted the rear view yet, but it doesn't look to be a problem...just waiting for a good day to do it. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and have now got used to the settings and operation. It also applies to the windscreen really well...no problems so far.

Well, this was a lot better than expected. The dash cam works great, just gets on and does the job. Interface is ok, but you hardly ever use it. Once set up it just works. The suction mount is great, rock solid. The rear camera is amazing. Rigged it in a Transit custom, wire only just reached, but did it. Mow it acts a rear view mirror and parking camera. You can set the display to rear view only, which means I can reverse! Really fantastic value for money. This is a genuine review by the way, I actually bought it. Highly recommend

I was worried at first with some of the negative reviews and how cheap it is compared to others but the positive reviews definitely persuaded me and I'm glad I got this dashcam. As far as dash cams goes, this was by far the easiest one I've set up. I've hard wired it as I hate cables trailing everywhere. The settings are self explanatory and easy to follow. I love that it's wide screen and captures so much more of the road ahead compared to a standard lens. I'm yet to connect the rear camera, but I have high hopes for it considering the quality of the dash cam, even the suction cup is good quality and it stays put!!! Nothing worse than driving along and your dashcam flies off the windscreen and scares the living daylight out of you 🤣 im so glad this one doesn't jump off the windscreen. I definitely recommend this cam, you won't be disappointed!!

Set up was a little confusing initially but I managed. I'd suggest keeping the instruction book safe just in case.Quite small and seems to be working fine. Night time picture may as well be daylight so that's good.A lot cheaper than a nextbase model. The shutdown sound is bit scratchy and horrible but it's not that loud.Over all a good buy. Only time will tell how it will hold up over time

This is the third attempt at replacing my “Road Safety Guard” camera purchased from Amazon some 7 years ago. This had a 4” square screen that could show Front, Rear or Rear within Front images. When it recorded, it put the Front and Rear recordings in 2 separate folders. Both the front and rear cameras were held in place by suction pads. All very straight forward.Nowadays it seems the recordings are all put in the same place on the ‘card’. Also, the rear cameras do not seem to have the same positioning flexibility and have to screwed to the body work, whether interior or exterior. And the majority seem to have become so much smaller with 3” screens or less.I liked the look of this item, as it does have a larger screen and the specifications looked very good. However, when it is set-up the rear camera view is ‘mirrored’ on the screen. That means it would be very dangerous to use as a reversing camera, as the left/right is reversed, as are number plates etc. I contacted the seller with this problem and the answer given is:“Hello Friend,The video on the screen is mirrored, but the recording video is normal. If you are not satisfied with this purchase, we will refund 15£ to you, what do you think about?Best Regards,Customer Service Team”I am returning this product and have ordered yet another, more expensive one, to try.It’s the REDTIGER 4K Dash Cam Front Rear Camera.

Brought for my son's first car and I must say it's great,easy to install and a must on our roads.Great for peace of mind..

This is a great product for the price.Impressed with the picture quality in all conditions, and ease of setting up in the car (front camera fitting seems really solid and has not fallen off the windscreen - unlike other ones I've had).The instruction manual is basic and does not give much help, but the camera is touch screen which enables you to access the menu and change the settings (time, date, recording timings, etc.) Very easy once you know that.32gb micro SD went in easily and worked straight away.Due to the style of my car have not fitted the rear camera yet but tried it out and the picture quality is as equally good as the front camera. Just need to do the fiddly bits to fit it.All in all great purchase, plus a 2 year warranty. Can't complain.
