Loved it!!
So it’s a new series, new characters and a billionaire / Mafia cross over and I loved it! It has the usual BJ Alpha spice but I seriously did a lot of shouting at certain characters (all in a good way!) they got under my skin which is what I like in a book! Shaw is a seriously possessive character but these tendencies and emotions are new to him so he really battles with how over the top he is at times with Emi. I would definitely read the trigger warnings but I love how his character develops, Shaw can be moody as but his friends bring him back and their banter is great! Can’t wait for the rest of the series and learning more about them all! It’s definitely a different series to the Secrets and Lies but I want that as a reader, especially as the author develops! For me nothing worse than feeling like you re reading the same book!SHAW Book 1 is a Mafia/Billionaire crossover.Storm Enterprises is a stand-alone interconnecting series based on insanely hot billionaire best friends. The books are full of drama, steam, banter and are dark romance, so please check your triggers.

What a start to the series!
BJA has this affinity for writing the filthiest, most overbearing and possessive alpha-holes you’ll ever have the pleasure of reading about. I’ve yet to read one of her books and not enjoy it; her men turn me absolutely feral. Every. Damn. Time. This was the Mafia cross Billionaire you didn’t know you needed in your life and with all of BJAs books; it was brilliantly structured, full of challenging conflict and well written characters. It was gripping and kept me intrigued from start to finish. It never ceases to amaze me how BJA creates this flawless crossover between her books; the interconnecting stories woven throughout are like little treasures waiting for their moment to shine and leave you wondering if we will get to see that side of the story in the future.I adored the sexual chemistry the pair had, BJA knows exactly how to get the tension popping so it hits the spot every time. She always leaves me in a puddle on the floor. This was a fabulous read and I would definitely recommend it!

Disappointed 😢
Let me start by saying I love BJ Alpha’s writing she is one of my favourite authors and I was really looking forward to reading this book.I love the male alphas in all her books and read them from cover to cover straight away. unfortunately I very nearly never finished this book, the male character fell flat, he wasn’t what I expected and without giving too much away, when confronted by Luca he was weak, I would expect more from him. I didn’t like how he went off on one of his tantrums and how he treated EMI, I also hated how EMI acted as a perfect “Mafia women” and accepted what he said and did to her. She came across as weak and pathetic. There was no sense of her being a strong fmc.Now Luca on the other hand 🥵 I can’t wait for his story and all the other guys in the team. 😂This has NOT put me off of reading BJ’s books, just this book was not for me.

Loved it
I really like Mafia books and this one did not disappoint me at all. Quite the contrary. I absolutely loved it. Emi is a mafia princess who certainly doesn’t act like a prima donna is totally ruled and dominated by her Mafia brother Luca. Shaw meets Emi and is enthralled and wants her. The book is very sexy, violent and OMG so swoon worthy. This book is book one in a two part series, it does not end on a cliffhanger. I cannot wait to read Luca’s story. I received an ARC of this book and I can honestly say I have pre-ordered it to purchase because I know I will read it again and again. BJ Alpha ………you did it again……loved it and thank you .❤️

Couldn't put it down 🩷🔥😭🥵😍
Honestly, the author..!! I'm always hooked on her stuff. Only time I see the other works page at the end of the book and I've legit read everything and added the upcoming ones to my TBR!So this book is slightly toxic, rough, heavy on the breeding but also heartbreaking and amazing all at once. I wanted to find Shaw and get vengeance for Emi so many times.Spoiler -Due to traded into an arranged marriage Emi gives guards the slip and sneaks off with the handsome man she's eyed across the room. She gives him her innocence and that's that.5 months later Shaw is getting a knock at the door off the local Capo wanting to hold him accountable for knocking up his little sister, ruining a business deal with no care that Shaw is back with his HORRIBLE gold digging ex girlfriend. Its amazing, go read!!

When Mafia clashes with Billionaire Romance
What happens when the Mafia world clashes with the billionaire entrepreneur dimension? Well, you have the answer in this book…🖤Shaw is the first book of the STORM Series by BJ Alpha. Shaw is a handsome entrepreneur who owns a successful company with his best friends. One night in Las Vegas will shift Shaw’s world upside down. On this night he meets Emi and after a very sexy one night together he might think he’s never seeing her again. But fate had it different for these two. Emi reappears in Shaw’s life, right next to her brother Luca, one of the most powerful Capos in NYC. Emi was supposed to be a Mafia Bride but now she won’t be able to meet her brother’s expectations. With this, Shaw decides to rearrange his life and do what is right… but the power struggle with Emi’s family is intense! Shaw has a long way to go if he wants to be the right person to stand besides Emi. Be patient with Shaw!♥️ I loved watching Shaw grow through this story. Even his intentions are always noble he sometimes gets misguided by his own pride. Emi is soft and young, she’s a Mafia Princess and she was raised like that, but she also had to catch up with Shaw’s ways! I can’t wait to read the other characters’ stories as Shaw is Book 1 of the correlated standalone series STORM.Shaw: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - A FIVE STAR READ FOR ME.What to expect from SHAW:- Mafia Romance- Age Gap- Virgin FMC- One Night Stand that becomes more- Billionaire Romance

Phenomenal Start To New Series!! Love Shaw & Emi!! 💙💙💙
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ReviewThis new book by BJ was next level awesomeness. She literally pulled out all the stops and wrote a masterpiece. Omg these characters and the storyline were absolutely on point fantastic. Shaw is the first book in her Storm Enterprises series and each book will tell the story of each of five best friends. Shaw, Tate, Owen, Reed, and Mase makes up S.T.O.R.M.This is Shaw and Emi’s story and it starts hot and heavy. And ends just the same. But the inbetween is a ride you won’t want to miss. These two are a match of perfection. They are a couple forced together by circumstances that leave them plus one after a hot one night stand. But though it’s forced they’re both equally attracted and connected to each other. And their chemistry yeah seriously off the charts. Shaw will most definitely have you angry and hating him one minute but swooning with lust the next. He is an extremely moody alpha male for sure but when he grovels and makes up for his moodiness he’s hot. This book will have you feeling all sorts of stuff. It’s got action, suspense, betrayals, lies, secrets, a crazy whiny ex, steam galore, and so so much more. Can’t wait for Tate’s story and to get to read Emi’s brother Luca’s story. That Luca is a man to be reckoned with and am dying to see who makes him fall to his knees. This is an absolute must read book and new series and I highly recommend it!!

Read it now!
One steamy night, whoa that was intense!Emilia is a mafia Princess, who is seeking for just one night to be happy and feel free. That leads Shaw and forced into their world! The attraction, the sparks and that jealousy in between.I like the banters between Shaw and Luca. The rescue mission was well-written. Shaw finally admitted to him that he love Emilia more than anything even if the child on her womb was not his! I know Luca patting himself for a job well done. Forcing and threatening this man to marry her sister. You can never resist a captivating story like this and I finished it in one sitting. Bj always give us the best! Such a great start to a new series. Definitely waiting for the next one.PS. I love Finn's cameo.

Marriage
There were parts that I seem familiar with but I could swear I've never read this before. I have read Luca's book before, though.Anyway, I really liked this and the instant connection between Emi and Shaw. I liked it overall, but it just hit some of my pet peeves, even though I've tried to reason with myself, I still got annoyed that they happened. There will be a bit of spoilers here...The part where Emi lied so that Shaw can chase his happiness... By inadvertently and unthinkingly (is that a word? Lol) putting herself in harm's way. For goodness's sake, I get not wanting to get in the way of each other's happiness, but TALK. But this one, I can almost forgive because she trusted the man she ran to, still, it bothers me whenever charactera run straight into danger because of "emotions." Emotions make them human,I know. I should probably be more graceful when it comes to these kinds of storylines because characters can't be perfect. And I don't want to blame the character when they're the victim. One other pet peeve is when a (d3@d) close family member's name is used to name a kid. I just don't think it's fair for the kid to be named after them. I can take it if it's a second name, or if they have a different nickname, but noooooooo. Sorry. These details are probably not big deals to others, and to be honest they are small details but they irk me. This is no hate to the author because I actually like a lot of her books. And I know I'm gonna read more of them.
