It's quite emotional as the reader gets a glimpse of Bucky's struggles that are not explored in the movies as well as I think the MCU could've done. I highly recommend this if Bucky is a favorite character of yours. Review: Comic VS Marvel - I bought this book thinking it would give me more info on Bucky Barnes, like advertised. While it did show Hydras process of torturing Bucky and i think did a great job of writing his character, the thing that REALLY bothered me was the fact they basically made a whole new universe and changed VERY frictional parts of his lore. Ex: Bucky fell from a plane instead of the accurate freight train car, and also met Steve in the army instead of being childhood friends. Him meeting Steve later on particularly bothered me as it kind of removed the depth of their friendship, but overall a pretty good book. I really wish they would put a disclaimer though that it’s the authors own universe and NOT canon or overall changed very crucial details of canon. (MAJOR EDIT) just found out that this is based off COMIC bucky and not marvel bucky. I had no idea they had separate story’s. So sorry to the author. I love this book now that i know. I would reccomend another Bucky book, but with marvel. Also, please put a disclaimer it’s comic bucky, as it can be confusing.

Great book
Great book for people who love marvel or super heros

Loved it so much, I had to buy it !
This book is a fun and devastating read. It’s really well written. I enjoyed this different take on what happened to Bucky Barnes/the winter soldier. I enjoyed the story line and that ending is just …you’ll have to read it. I originally checked it out from the library and after reading it, I purchased it and read it again. Oh and that cover is fire!

Twists full of emotions
Very beautiful book. Definitely got emotional and lot of little twists that you pick up on the more you read. This is more based on comic version of Bucky so please keep that in mind.
