Other reviews said the inside was upside down or backwards. I didn't have that problem. Books were well made with nice diamonds. Fits perfect in a pocket or pocketbook. Good for men & women.

I liked that it was easy to see the numbers and letters on the patterns.

These little purse & pockets size note books, are so beautiful on outside! Major printing binding errors. 3 out the pack of 4 were backwards inside. You have too turn the diamond painting it's on back, & the plain black leather is facing you. I was very disappointed I notice after I completed 2 . One was done correctly all others are wrong! Too late too return so I will have too keep them . They were for gifts. My first time buying this size . Never had this problem with larger size journals. This why I gave 3 stars rating. If you order this items beware check before you start with the diamond painting on them. I learned now check your kits with detail eyes before you start your project. Good luck!

I received one set and one of those books had the print on the back side of the book, so that made the inside upside down.I then ordered a second set as a replacement and that had TWO of the books that were upside down and the pictures on the back.I ended up returning a combination of the 2 sets (one book of each design) making the returned set having 3 books with the design on the back of the book. It worked out for me, because I ended up getting a full set that worked properly and returned the others. So you're taking your chances on how many you're going to get. With my 2 sets, I had a 25% and a 50% on the product bad.

The books are made for cultures that write and read from right to left. If you want European centered left to right books, do not buy these.

These are a fun little project but with mine, to have the notebook the correct way you have to have the blank black cover facing you. In other words, the notebook itself is put in backwards and upside down. They were fun to do though.
