We absolutely love this Kernel Season’s Nacho Cheddar popcorn seasoning! The flavor is bold, cheesy, and delicious without being too salty. It turns plain popped popcorn into a snack that tastes like it came from the theater or snack aisle. The seasoning is easy to sprinkle evenly, and just a little goes a long way — one pack lasts through multiple movie nights. Packaging is great too, and having six makes it excellent value compared to buying single bottles. If you’re a fan of cheesy snacks or just want to take your popcorn to the next level, this is a must-have. Highly recommended and will definitely buy again!

I’ve used the flavored versions of popcorn seasoning from this brand before, but not the straight popcorn salt. I ordered this because, for some reason, my local grocer stopped carrying popcorn salt. While this isn’t quite as finely ground as the Morton popcorn salt, it’s still comparable and much more finely ground than typical table salt. Bottom line: It gets the job done. It sticks to my popcorn, particularly buttered popcorn. I’ve seen another review that this has other ingredients in it, but I’m not sure what those reviews are referring to, because what I received doesn’t have anything one ingredient in it: fine salt. I’ve also seen comments about how large the distribution holes are in the container. While the holes are larger than other salt shakers, when you’re dealing with salt that is this finely ground, the salt will pour/dump out in large quantities from even the smallest holed salt shakers. If you distribute it with a gentle side to side sweeping motion with minor changes in the incline of the shaker, you shouldn’t have any trouble properly distributing the salt, without distributing too much. It just takes a little patience to develop the right “touch”, and ultimately, paying attention to what you’re doing. I use this at home for my air-popped popcorn, (on which I usually put a little real butter); and I also take a shaker with me to the movie theaters to refresh my popcorn to taste as needed during movie watching. Even in a dark theater, I can avoid dumping too much salt on my popcorn with this particular shaker. All that being said, there are easy things that can be done to limit salt distribution. These shakers are easily opened. One way is to unscrew the cap, but some plastic wrap across the mouth of the bottle, replace the cap, and through just one or two of the holes, use a needle or toothpick or other small, sharp object and poke a hole in the plastic wrap. What you will have done is reduce the available area for the salt to flow. Hopefully that helps. But this popcorn salt works for the purpose intended. A good value for the price. Another “pro” is the plastic bottle. Other brands of popcorn salt have twist top openings and come in cardboard tube containers with aluminum bottoms. Not good for carrying into a movie theater. These, however, are packaged in a way that you can do just that. I just add a food grade silica gel desiccant pack to the one I’m going to take out of the house to the theater and I’m good-to-go!

This is not a "pack of 6". Its a very expensive single bottle.
